I've got a question: I bought a can of King Oscar sardines for the first time (I heard sardines were rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and other nutrients) and noticed it had tiny bones in them. Do I eat those or scrape them out?

You can eat them and they are good with onions, too.

I am 47, and I just had sardines for the first time because of this post (I had bought them about a month ago on a whim). They were Ocean Prince brand in mustard sauce on Keebler Townhouse Toppers crackers. Not at all bad!!

I love sardines. My 4 Siamese cats also love sardines. When I think to myself that I would like some sardines, I hear the 4 cats jump off the bed upstairs and meander towards the kitchen. Their mind reading abilities are truly amazing. I can no longer eat sardines in the house - I have to slip into the basement

The ends of chicken leg bones and cartilage are especially delicious. Also, the ends of baby ribs.

From where are these sardines sourced?
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
Eat them, they’re great.
Put sardines on saltines and dash on some tabasco sauce. Enjoy with some nice cold beer.
You’re welcome in advance.

You can eat them, if you put a close pin on your nose as you do it. ;o)

I’ll be in the shower.
Let me know if anything happens.

Eat them. They’re good for you. Same as bones in canned salmon.

I eat a can of King Oscar sardines every day and I never noticed bones. I guess bones must be in them but they are so soft I never particularly noticed them.
I usually eat the sardines alone for lunch but sometimes I like to saute jalapenos and mushrooms in olive oil and put them on a toasted bagel with the sardines and have a sardine sandwich. Other times, I like to have sardines on crackers with beer (English style).

capers
one anchovy
one sardine
juice of half a lemon
teaspoon of olive oil
