I know he said it, mom. I did not and do not take what he said on that video snippet seriously. I just don't. Maybe what's more important, to clarify, is that Howard's narrative on that tape isn't real important to me. Maybe because I perceived the tone of his voice completely differently than you, or the next person, or the next.
I'm going to try to get out of speculative mode and just wait until the report on Monday, wait for the DNA report, then wait for the inquest to see how Daniel got the methadone. I wonder if Dr. Perper will be on all the shows tonight to refute the Star/NE article, lol.
I guess I don't need to be spoon fed in order to get a gut feeling about someone like HK$.
He is claiming that this is his baby. In the video ANS is 8 months pregnant and obviously wasted and HK$ is showing NO concern about the welfare of her or the baby and acting like it is all humorous? Hardy har har. Captain obvious to the rescue!
Here's my take on the "I'm so sleepy" thing. Again, pure speculation but it's how I perceived what Howard said: After Daneil got to the hospital, and for quite some time afterwards, he wasn't tired and felt he couldn't/didn't want to sleep. Some time passes, maybe several hours. He helped his mother to the bathroom at 6:20. My thinking is that it was after THAT when Daniel mentioned feeling very tired. Hopefully based on the Bahamian autopsy report and Wecht's, it was determined approximately when Daniel ingested the methadone. That I'm interested in.

I like your angle about detoxing her - it's something different to think about and not so sinister. Does anyone know why the mansion was called Horizons? Did they give it that name? I've always thought it sounded like a name you'd give a rehab place.

It shouldn't matter what HKS said on that pathetic tape or how he said it. ANS was 8 months pregnant and zonked on whatever the drug of choice was that day. Instead of making videos and "kidding", the POS should have been concerned. Concerned enough to stop thinking $$$$$ and think about rehab. He must have really hated her....and especially hated the baby she was carrying. Probably hoped all the drugs would cause a miscarriage. Now, he has full control of the infant he despised. I care about that.

Good thinking - KE is arrogant enough to believe she could pull that off by herself. Maybe that's why she is so smug -she has a perfect alibi. Away from the tabloid press. A baby to take care of. Home care at home!

You're right! It does sound like the name of a rehab facility.
She'll have to show a treatment plan for that, like chemotherapy.
She will say that is the reason for that great big list of drugs.

If you had such a nasty...infection in your buttock...it seems like it would have been oozing...sore...and wouldn't there have been a red line..somewhere...? Since she had all the pain medications available...seems like she would have taken more then something to sleep. But I am sure HKS and the doctor...knew all this. If now the doctor claims she was only a psychiatrist then why the heck was she subscribing all the pain medication? It seems like to me all this evidence would be supplied to a coroners inquest...where there is like a jury that would decide if this should go to court...not just Dr. Pepper.
She's probably working on that treatment plan as we speak. Backdating it naturally.

I read it more as a "if i can't have you then nobody can" thing. I'm basing that on my belief that Anna may have been seriously considering going back to Larry and having a family again. What she may have been thinking was NOT what HKS had in mind.
I understand that this doesn't seem to jive with what i said earlier about Anna being detoxed so she wouldn't lose custody of the baby, but as we know Anna wasn't stable. There was that love/hate relationship with Larry. She could've been going back and forth on going back to Larry. And HKS wasn't taking any chances. His life was on the line. If she were to return to Larry, Larry would've talked to her and explained that HKS seems to be responsible for Daniels death.
Although some physicians consider chloral hydrate to be the drug of choice for sedation of children ----
holy Hannah - is this the 'child sedative' that Moe admitted was in the room? and ws it used on the baby,(maid claimed that baby was sedated each nite)??? hair test for baby quick !!
