So, the other day I was talking with a neighbor who lives around the corner from us on Chestnut Street. And there was a juvenile bird (I think it may be a male robin) who decided to imprint himself on me. He jumped on my head and there was nothing I could do to get him off, so I decided to walk home. He just stayed on my head for the short walk back. Now he is hanging out in the tree in front of our place, and whenever I go out the front door and he is around, he flies over and lands on my head.
I want to do the right thing by him, so if any of you bird-lovers have a suggestion for how to deal with the bird on my head, please let me know.
"Mama!"
Awwwww...
You may have a future on the late-nite shows... Leno and the other buffoons should be calling any moment for booking dates.
Medical suggestion: get a straw hat and let him land on that, and wash your hair very thoroughly with a good anti-bacteria shampoo (Neutrogena), as birds carry a lot of bacteria and disease, and you don't want to get any of that in your system.
Otherwise, you've got a class act and can take it on the road, IMO. If you can get him to say, "It's Bush's fault", you've got another 2 years to make millions with the lib-dem trash shows!
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiing, Oprah is calling...
Sounds likelse hadfed him and released him, but he's imprinted on humans. Just let him be, do your own thing and he will probably be fine, gradually losing his attraction for people.

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.
Someone's escaped pet?
Sounds likelse ==> sounds like someone else
and thank God it's not an alligator.
He doesn't look much like a robin in that photo, though. Do you have a better picture?
I have to check back to this thread. LOL.
You'll have to ask her. It's the only one she posted.
Look at the breast, that's no robin. Look at the beak. Parrot?

Holy moly! Is that really enlarged from the photo, or are you joking?
I was trying to ID the bird. Black parrot, IMHO.
