And now for tonight’s Dinklemeyer:

This one is continuing the story started last week: Deathball. This story is a culmination of the awful memories I have being forced to play volleyball in Middle School.

Yeah 100% of the time here.

I am 25. I like sci-fi, writing, cats, movies. I am 5 foot 10 with pale skin and brown hair and brown eyes. what I am looking for is somone with a good heart. Somone I can get along with. Somone who can appreciate me for who I am and not for money or looks.

Do you work? Are you living on your own? Do you own a car? What are you doing to actively meet girls?

Yes. No I do not own a car. Tried to meet them through similar interests (like sci-fi) but it never works out.

You're not alone. I've never had a girlfriend or date or even friend who was a girl either.

You just can't let it get you down. Perk up, and focus your energy on other things.

If I focus my energy on other things and lose focus on that then it would be left to pure chance that anyone would find me. And the odds are not very good.

If you lose focus on one thing, find something else. Don't focus it all on finding someone because the harder you try the more likely you will fail. This is experience speaking.

Most people in happy, long-lasting relationships that I talk to weren't searching for a relationship when they met. They just met when it was the last thing on their mind.

Not really. There were some I thought were my friends but I was embarrassingly wrong.

Well, first and foremost you must leave the house to meet girls, or meet some online in a local chatrooms, or something like match.com or e-harmony.com. I know it sounds kinda gay, but it does work.

I do get out of the house. No worries about that. I only post here at night when I am home lol. Just bad luck plain and simple.

In HS, I hung out with the NERDIEST crowd you could imagine, but we were the FUNIST people at school. We were like the Toys of Misfit Island. I was a super nerd. I had both male and female friends growing up, but I got so nerdy I just hung out with guys more than girls cause they all wanted to be cheerleaders. I thought that was so gay.

lol. I was always alone in school. An outcast. You either act like a member of the borg collective or your spat upon for being yourself.

Picture a guy who is the most irritating, pretentious idiot in the world. He thinks he's funny, cool, popular, etc. but he's just annoying and around him is an aura of awkward silences and strange looks. But he won't admit it about himself and continues on making a fool of himself while people who he thinks like him are looking at him like he's from Mars.

We all know someone like that. In 9th and 10th grades, that was me. By grade 11, I had started to wise up.

Simply bad luck or a curse for me. Maybe I was destined to be like this.

I didn't hang out with ANY group. Not even the nerds. In fact, far from being fun, I found the nerds to be annoying. But then, so were the popular kids. And the goths. EVERY group was weird and grating to me. All people were weird and grating. I was by myself, observing them all from a distance.

I was not alone by choice here. I was an outcast.
