Scientists have finally conceeded a date for the predicted pole-shift, even the causes and effects. All the while, the likes of The Mayans and Hope, have been ridiculed for even suggesting such possibility, and right down to the expected date-line (2012) by using that termed ancient arts of calculating events through Astronomy!
Yes, Scientists now admit things are dreadfully wrong or out of kilter for planet Earth, which might well affect us all at a specific juncture. Are there other important facts we deserve to know about, considering we live in free, democractic, accountable, humane societies, who also retain certain basic morals? Are there for example, those working in that termed the underworld, who could infact prove of more negative influences. Do perhaps events as reported in and around area 51 infact retain some credibility! How do we know unless waiting on events to be filtered out, when suiting?

It all depends on whether the tin-foil is shiny side out, or shiny side in.

Y2K redux.
I think when people see the word "pole shift" then have visions of the planet actually rolling over like some giant cosmic dog. That truly would be a disaster. However, this isn't going to happen. Antarctica will still be at the "bottom" of the planet and the Arctic ocean will still be at the "top".
Earth's spin and tilt, and the weather patterns that are generated as a result of this spin, will remain the same.
We all will go out and buy new compass cards however.

To prevent overflowing, the medical science recommends laxatives. Lots of them.

Just last night I watched a show informing me that earth would become a snowball pretty soon.
Gheeze, global warming, snowball planet, reversed polarity - what's a guy to do?

Will I be forced to replace the generator I bought for Y2K or will it just run backwards?

PANIC! ANARCHY! RUN ABOUT SCREAM AND SHOUT!.... Puuuulllleeeezze.... If you think this is going to be a catastrophic event... you are not using your brain... the scientists... if you can call them that... have no empirical evidence of what COULD happen much less what WILL happen. To panic over something that is going to happen in the future that no one know diddly about is fruitless. If it does happen then we will see what happens. to get worked up over something like this does nothing but make you sound like a member of the tinfoil hat brigade....

How the worlds governments who can't get along in the best of times, manage to conspire to keep hundreds of millions of people silent on all of the various conspiracy theories ranging from secret FEMA death camps to UFOs.

The Pole shift has already occurred. c.1945/46/47. The Soviets shifted the Poles about 100 miles to the West.
Seriously though, its the Chinese and Indians. There are now so many of them, that any coordinated movement puts us at great peril. I predict that the Earth will topple when the Indians compete against the Chinese at the World Cup. Both countries will start "The Wave" and this will throw the planet into a death wobble.
There isn't much time, but the CIA could still take out their best players (or deflate the ball), thus preventing total, planet wide, annihilation of life. And don't even get me started on the problems that will ensue if our Asian friends suddenly take a liking to American football and all flush their toilets simultaneously during Super Bowl halftime...

No, no, no. That doesn't happen until the hemispheres reverse.

NASA scientists using data from the Indonesian earthquake calculated it affected Earth's rotation, decreased the length of day, slightly changed the planet's shape, and shifted the North Pole by centimeters. The earthquake that created the huge tsunami also changed the Earth's rotation. Dr. Benjamin Fong Chao, of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md. and Dr. Richard Gross of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. said all earthquakes have some affect on Earth's rotation. It's just they are usually barely noticeable.
"Any worldly event that involves the movement of mass affects the Earth's rotation, from seasonal weather down to driving a car," Chao said.
