I am not a poster. I am a crispy critter.

I am an internet java script sent to infiltrate your site and transform you from political neanderthals into a modern 21st Century progressive mode.

This is your first warning.

Do not try and resist.

It is useless.

Accept your fate.

You will be assimilated.

In this case no, it's a wretched acronym "personal digital assistant." It's doing fine, but I'm now re-evaluating my computer setup. I'm thinking about switching the "fast" (1.3 GHz) machine
to Win2k from Linux, setting up the slower one (550 MHz) downstairs as a Linux box (from Win), and retiring the slowest (300MHz Win98). All this to get the mix of horsepower and platforms I'm looking for a new project.

Now it's getting dark.

Got about 2-1/2 hours before that starts here. but the fog is getting thicker.

If it's not "action-packed" I have a hard time sticking with a story. It's all different, now. My normal attention span these days is about a quarter inch.

:o[

I think if I had one of those, I could find my brains easier. But then, I'll have to put it on my wish list. Let's just hope I can remember where I put the list...:o|

They're dangerously helpful, unfortunately.

My DH has one of those, but I find the record keeping to be more trouble than it's worth.

Wait. Maybe thats why I'm disorganized!

Using the pda to play music in the car, or podcasts of Rush is wonderful though.

If I can swing it, I'll get one. But not till after Christmas. The prices on the 2005 models will be a lot lower then.

LOL! It depends on what it's used for. Calendar, passwords (encrypted), and some contact info are my main uses. Then as a WiFi testing tool (to test the network I set up for document sharing at meetings), and of course for games/music/video on the airplane.

I tried e-books, but prefer paper.

I'm going to get off the net for a while; let my son have a turn.

High speed something or other is coming to the Fanfan household next week.

The whole Fanfan family is looking forward to this momentous occasion.

I may see you all later tonight.

Adieu.....but not good bye.

:-D

Lucky you. We're still living w/26k dialup -- though at least we can share the connection.

You are right......The music and video files are super, and if you use it for work, it makes even more sense.

DH uses it as an alarm for taking medication too.

I just find it so difficult to see the little screen.

:-) See you later.

My son says he doesn't want a turn now.

Yippee!

OTOH, I have to get the sheets out of the dryer, and make the bed.
