Hi everyone. Since we haven't been able to come up with a name for the castle, I've been thinking about it a bit. I've decided to add another choice to the ballot...
UTS Stuning VIXEN
Please note that Vixen cannot be combined with any other words for this purpose, as I am allowing my former title to be passed on. Thank you.

Epoxy...does it look like a toilet seat?

no rushing, but one must move swiftly once the epoxy is mixed.

walp...
alea iacta est: the final assembly is done.
I got it done before the epoxy set. I believe I owe that to the fact that I cranked the AC to a chilly 50 degrees before starting, slowing the epoxy's set time.
as far as I can tell, the runout edges of the back and belly elements clear the sides of the core in all areas, but I'm not certain - squeezed-out epoxy makes it difficult to see certain areas. Fortunately I have about .125" remaining to plane/sand off the overall core width, so I have some wiggle room.
I don't think the glue lines will be as clean as I would prefer. TFB. This is, after all, an experiment/prototype. What matters more than all else is that (1)I have learned a great deal and (2)it works.
However...I will not know until tomorrow whether I have succeeded or failed in #2.
