Line was too long at the Post Office; I'll have to go back Monday when everyone else is at school or work.

Hanging in there!
We had a 44 last night, but it's supposed to get up to the mid-80's today, so when it warms up a little more, I'll take Hobbes out and see how she likes the leash. :o]

It looks like we'll have low 70's today. Der Prinz is at Cub Scout leadership training, so the rest of us are just hanging around, now that we've been to Wal-mart. Soon it will be time for the little boys' naps (and mine), and if everybody turns up sometime in the afternoon, we'll go to the library.
Quite a comfortable life here :-).

It actually sounds like a very good Saturday!
I usually try to get to Wal-Mart early in the morning, as I hate crowds.
But the nap thing sounds real good, and so does the library!

The Wal-mart wasn't too crowded. We got there a little before 9:00. I'm mildly annoyed about the Post Office line, because I have my first Christmas package ready to mail, and I can't mail it!

I'm going to go one day next week to the PO to mail a birthday package to my youngest grandson. He's into Spongebob, so I got him a Spongebob watch and a bag of Spongebob animal cookies. I haven't seen anything else that I could afford, so I picked up a DVD of old (1940's) cartoons for him. He and his dad will enjoy that, I think.
I'm only mailing one Christmas package and that's to my son and grandson.
My daughter wants me to go to Vegas for Christmas, but I'll have to wait and see...weather and money...

I usually send things directly from catalogs, but this year I actually bought stuff, which has to be mailed by me!

LOL!
Since the PO and UPS have pick-up service, I save myself a trip when I can. However, the PO I go to here is never busy, so I don't mind going.
