I'm not sure which to believe. Do men want young things or experienced older gals? Hmmmmm.

My wife is 10 years younger than me. When my father was 40 he married my stepmother who was 25. Their 25th year anniversery was right after Christmas.

From a woman's point of view....
I think what men really want is the youthful abandon and exuberance, the innocence, the joie de vive. I think if a guy could get that with a mature woman and not some little gym rat,he'd be content. After all, I should know....I'm 48 going on 18! {:D

Could be they want young or old, smart or rich or, it could just be they want what they can't have!

I think the same argument can be said about women wanting a man that is : Tall, Not Fat , Educated , Wealthy.

Evolution might have something to say about it. Men who preferred older women were likely to have fewer offspring, because of lowered fertility and fewer years to make babies. Or, men who preferred younger women would have more descendants than the ones who preferred older women. After a few hundred generations of this, the pattern would be well-etched in DNA, and there would be darn few guys who prefer older women.

Men want younger women because they are well...younger, probably attractive and they make the guy look like he's got "it."
Do guys want older women?

An old boyfriend of mine liked older women. My ex-husband, who is 37, married a woman that is 10 years younger than he is after we divorced. My husband is only three years older than I am. I don't think that it's accurate or fair to say men prefer this or men prefer that. Each man is an individual and has individual preferences.

Do men want young things or experienced older gals? Ideally, I'd have one of each.

My late first wife was three years older than I. Number 2 is ten years younger. Frankly, age had little, if anything to do with the intial attraction and subsequent blossoming of either relationship.
I generally find younger women to be too flighty for my liking, but Mrs. B is an exception.
My Dad was born in 1890 and my Mother in 1918-- and despite the tongue-wagging that went on in our island community about the age difference, all I saw between them was a couple of kindred spirits who were more like best friends- until the last few years of Dad's life, when in his ninties and age & disease finally caught up with him, they hunted, fished, boated, swam and generally did everything together.
