Goshen Humane Society, Goshen NY.
She'd been stuffed into a burlap sack as a kitten and then tossed over their 8 foot tall fence in back.
They called her Hydrox, and she was the free roaming window cat.
This was a month or two after the death of my previous cat, and it was my parents who went loking for another cat for me.
*sigh*
If I'd had my way at the time, I wouldn't have HAD another cat.
It was pretty bad losing Mimi the way I did.
She'd eaten a wasp that'd been sprayed with a choleo-intestinase inhibitor.
And it took three months to kill her, and by the time we'd figured out what happened, it was too late.
She died of, I think, kidney failure.
By the time it was figured out, she died in her sleep after making the rounds and saying goodbye.
Pretty rough to deal with.

Yup.
But that didn't stop her from trilling and yipping at me to hurry up.

I'm sorry about Mimi. The passing of a pet is always hard. They are family.
I'm glad you have Kearen to love on you. It was a year after my 4 yr old Sterling kitty died, before I wanted another kitty friend.

We'll miss you too!

Thank you.
I'd raised Mimi from a little teacup sized mewling puking kitten.
So her passing was quite a hurt.
She was 14 or so when she died, and her mother lived to be 17 even after having spent 2 or so years outside in the wild.
So there's no clue as to how long she would have lived if that hadn't happened.
Kearen IS a lovable kitty, even with the nipping ordeal she does.
She sits on the bed and acts like a stuffed animal at times, the only clue that she is real is when she gets upset at being looked at and trills.

Bye and Hi!

If so, she's probably wondering what it is that you want? (Like are you going to attack her as soon as she diverts her attention, which is what any other animal your size might do to her.) Sometimes I stare at my cat, he's so pretty and cute (to me anyway).
To: PreviouslyA-Lurker
Usually I'm just coming into the room ,or attempting to take her picture.
(She hates having her pic taken, but will ham up for them at times with an amused look on her face.)
But once in awhile I'll be staring at her just to watch ehr sit there since she's adorable, almost like a little kid.
"Mommy" yells at her for misbehaving, so she runs to me for scritches and cuddles..

I thought the dog was driving your truck? Those trucks (amphibious) are too slow for what? All Lulabelle needs it for is chasing ducks!

Very cute!
To: PreviouslyA-Lurker
I'm here as well.
Shall we move to today's thread, or shall we be weird and stay here?

I've been working from "My Comments", and ran out of yesterday's except for our posts, and am over at 'today' now. When I run out of today, I'll either go back to yesterday or browse till I get 'paged' (if I do).
