I would have been fooled to some degree too and would have tended to defer to the experts. I would have done that until Fauci showed up! A 15 minute Internet search would have shown you can’t put him in front of a camera or believe wholly what he says. Trump’s 2016 WH staff didn’t do their homework on Fauci. Another example Trump’s 2016 staff letting him down!

I was skeptical of the whole thing Covid from the beginning.

You said Trump had a hand in the vaccine debacle because he pushed Operation Warp Speed. I said that Trump, by pushing Warp Speed, did not give the companies permission to put out a defective product.

I know Trump pushed Warp Speed. But he did not give them permission to put out a defective product. How many times do I have to repeat that.

So Trump does not bear the responsibility in any way. And by saying that, I am not saying that he is God or Jesus Christ. Talk about a stupid accusation, and an attempt to change the subject.

It should have been done this way. Like the authorization of Dupont to build the Atomic Bomb. Dupont’s profit was one dollar! Why because the then CEO\Prez of Dupont didn’t want the claim they profited from such a horrible awesome weapon to be credible. He went ahead an accepted the work because the weapon was existentialy necessary. Our existence depended upon it being built. Not an exaggerated view during WWII.

The pharmaceutical contractors should have been given two choices. Since they and others believed or said they did it was an existential event.

Contract Option 1: Since you like others think civilization’s existence is threatened by COVID. Like Dupont you get one dollar profit, the government pays cost and development and immunity from future liability suits. No IP!

Contract Option 2. You get normal FAR rules on profits and development costs and IP. You are not immune to liability suits.

They clearly wanted their cake and to eat it too. They wanted 2. plus immunity and more. They got it! They didn’t believe it was an existential event. They saw it as a way to make a killing off a panicked government, panicked president & panicked populace.

the J and J was the safer of the vaccines because it was not a MRNA vaccine...

My wife was in the DoD and freaked about getting fired. Without any conversation with me, her husband of then 39 years, she took the J&J shot. The clot problem supposedly would manifest in about three weeks and after that I relaxed, but am still a bit upset she never talked with me. She loved her job and was literally petrified she would get fired without a shot.

None of the people in her agency who refused the shots were fired.

I think the reason J&J stopped production was the US government decertified it, and the reason it was decertified was it was not going to kill a lot of people.

Vaccination was a hard requirement for my work and the entire career field.

I got the J&J. But I also got a bunch of 12mg Ivermectin tablets. I take one weekly and will continue until 2032 which is when the spike protein-infected cells are due to completely die off.

Got/diagnosed pericarditis the week I was vaxxed. Symptoms were bad at first, including a hospitalization but they have been falling off logarithmically. Which I think is really cool cuz that’s what the literature said happens.

The VA gave me the J&J jab in March of 2021. By July of that year they wanted me to take Pizer vaccine. No.

I have politely declined each time my VA PCP recommended it. I will likely take the flu shot this upcoming season, just because I got it last month and it was a real slog getting over it (temp of 103.8 for 3 days, 3 weeks to feel right again).
