Your understanding of the “Rapture” is a recent thing. You’re understanding of the anti-Christ is a recent thing. It’s not scriptural. It’s a modernistic interpretation read back into scripture over the last two or so centuries.

Having been to Turkey, I wouldn’t consider it “Third World.” If it is Third World, then so is Russia and Bulgaria.
I really cannot possibly think of anything cooler or more visually spectacular or intimidating than that and being a part of that army lead by Jesus Himself headed off to defeat the enemies wreaking havoc on the earth sounds like the most amazing exciting adventure possible.
