GP ^ | February 8, 2021 | Jim Hoft

What a dark day for America. Democrats are now allowed to make any changes to election law whenever they feel necessary without consequence.

The Supreme Court also threw out Attorney Lin Wood’s election challenge without comment.

The Supreme Court turned down EVERY SINGLE election case this year without comment. What a tragedy.

It was the Trump Wisconsin case that was dismissed this morning.

18 U.S. Code § 2383 Does not mention the armed forces of United States

Department of Defense Law of War Manual
11.2 WHEN MILITARY OCCUPATION LAW APPLIES

Not once in the chapter you cite, is there any reference to being applicable within the United States

I totally agree with everything you said. Some of those sheriff’s in South Texas that are Hispanic are as mad as heck. Abbott has a golden opportunity to tell the psycho beeatch speaker and the drooling half-wit that he’s taking his National Guard back down to the border where they’re needed and WDC can ESAD! I bet it would snowball like mad. What is this about an amendent 10 that allows for states to, for lack of a better word, defy any orders from an overbearing and overreaching central government? Texas can take care of itself in energy and border matters!

Biden is an illegitimate president who stole the election. Nothing can change that. There is insurmountable evidence in the hands of military intelligence more than sufficient to remove Biden and reinstate Trump who is the legally elected President. The deep state is all but dismantled at this time. Its just been done behind the scenes. Biden and his entourage are being allowed to pretend to be in control for the moment. I understand that most people just cannot believe what I am saying because they are brainwashed by a lifetime of believing what they hear on TV. I guess at some point when Trump returns to office they will be forced to face the reality.

I'd rather be be angry than have false hope/blind faith in dumbasses who are full of crap.

Instead of sitting on your keister and "trusting the plan" like the retards on the Q thread do, re-register as an independent or democrat, and volunteer to work the polls or vote counting.

For your information. "the plan" is the use of the US Military. I've made it very clear the military could very well be compromised as many of them are. Besides no plan has ever gone as expected. This isn't the "A Team"

I'm not looking forward to our future. Even if the Military comes through it will be very difficult for all of us.

I’m not brainwashed and I don’t watch television. The deep state did steal the election for their chosen one but the realization is President Trump has no powers at this point. Hopefully he will run again and win but I doubt it. The swamp is just too deep and wide even for our Donald. Best President in my lifetime

This is good. Better than pie in the sky fantasies and putting faith in LIARS like Steve Pieczenik.

When my parents went through school they used to teach civics they taught them how to enter precincts. My parents and their parents joined their local precinct and called it their civic duty.

Steve Pieczenik and Alex Jones are idiots and likely controlled opposition. I've said that for years. Example: Testosterone levels are doping in males and is a problem. Jones jumps up an down screaming, "they're turning frogs gay" which completely disrupts the important message.

You both ask why courts have held Trump lacks standing. But your premise is incorrect. Courts have not held that Trump lacks standing to bring election lawsuits. Out of all the lawsuits brought by Trump, I can only think of one where any claim was dismissed for lack of standing: The federal case in Pennsylvania, where the district court Trump had no standing to bring two specific claims: (1) a claim under the Electors Clause, which the 3rd Circuit had previously held belongs only to a state legislature; and (2) a claim for the violation of voters’ 14th Amendment rights, which the court held belongs only to those voters. Trump conceded the first point in his briefing in the trial court, and challenged neither ruling on appeal.

I think you both have been misled into the belief that every court has dismissed Trump’s lawsuits for lack of standing, but that just isn’t true. They have correctly held that Lin Wood, who sued on his own behalf as an individual voter, lacked standing to challenge election results, and that the State of Texas lacked standing to challenge the results of other states’ elections.

Ok, I have not followed all the various court cases that have been filed. Has anyone who does have standing filed suits? Are these suits still in play or have they been dismissed as well?

“Letting women vote was the key to the nation’s destruction.”

As a woman, I agree, wholeheartedly!

I’m still keeping my independence, land, guns and cash, though. You boys go right ahead and vote for me. ;)

None that I am aware of. I think the last was Trump v. Raffensperger the election challenge filed in Fulton County, GA, which Trump voluntarily dismissed on January 7. And that's a key: Many, if not most, election lawsuits brought by Trump were voluntarily dismissed by Trump himself, not the judge.

The relatively few that were dismissed by the judge were dismissed for various reasons, such as failure to state a legal claim, lack of jurisdiction because they filed in the wrong court (such as bringing a state-law election challenge in federal court, or, as happened in Georgia, bringing a challenge directly in the state supreme court rather than in the state trial court).

Contrary to the claims of some of Trump's lawyers, courts actually did consider evidence presented by Trump in most, if not all, of the contested states. In fact, I have yet to find a single election challenge filed by Trump or his elector candidates in state court where the court dismissed it without considering evidence. The closest was a case in Michigan, where they held that you could not sue to enjoin the canvassing board from certifying the results based on a challenge that the election was fraudulent, and that the only avenue to make such a challenge under Michigan law was a quo warranto suit challenging the validity of the elector's election. For whatever reason, Trump never filed a quo warranto suit in Michigan as the court suggested.

One important case is pending, although it does not directly involve the Presidential election. I mentioned before that the federal court in Pennsylvania dismissed Trump's Electors Clause claim for lack of standing based on a prior 3rd Circuit case, and that Trump did not argue against that point and didn't challenge it on appeal. That prior 3rd Circuit case, Bognet v. Boockvar, involves a Congressional candidate challenging his election on the basis that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court violated the Elections Clause (the Article I counterpart to the Electors Clause) by extending the deadline to receive mail-in ballots. The 3rd Circuit held that he lacked standing, because, it reasoned, only the state legislature itself has standing to sue for the usurpation of its power under the Elections or Electors Clauses. That case remains pending before the US Supreme Court--SCOTUS has not yet granted or denied the petition for cert.
