ATLANTA — Judge Timothy Batten in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia has dismissed the lawsuit. A similar suit in Michigan was also dismissed this morning. Powell will appeal to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, which dismissed a similar suit brought by attorney Lin Wood this weekend.
Uncalled for. You're making your points - wishing other FReepers harm is not a good look.
Yes, but if the Senate goes Dem, the damage they will surely do may well be irreversible.
You think I don’t understand how the Senate works?
Well, Captain obvious, let me set you straight - if that is possible with someone as arrogant as you ...
I am a County Chair, and have been such for 10 years. I have been a delegate to 5 state Conventions. I am presently serving a second term as a State Central Committeeman. I have three years of Constitutional Law under my belt.
Now, smartass, what do you have to offer - besides misinformed, pie-in-the-sky bullsh*t?
What is your “plan B,” if Trump does not succeed in his legal battle to win this contest, and we get stuck with a Biden-Harris Administration?
Do you even consider the possibility of failure? Or are you just a hopeless Pollyanna, viewing the political world through your rose-colored glasses?
Guys like you are dime-a-dozen shallow thinkers, who apparently cannot distinguish political fantasy from political reality. You never consider contingencies in your calculus. You want to strike out at anybody who points out your short-sightedness. Well, let me again set you square on the reality: it will require a miracle for President Trump to pull this win off - and we are a bit short on miracles to date.
As I stated several times - I have to look at the political landscape as it is - not as I wish it would be. I am a political officer in the GOP - and therefore cannot afford to deal in “hopium.”
Being that is the present reality, it is imperative we hold the Senate with the only real chance we have at the moment. Lin Wood is not helping that cause when he tells Georgia Republicans not to vote “unless” the system is fixed. Because the unfortunate present reality in Georgia is that “the system” is not likely to be “fixed” to Wood’s liking by the time the January 5th run-off arrives. THAT is the political reality - and people like yourself had best pull your heads out of your ass PDQ, or we are going to suffer real and vey likely irreversible damage to this nation.
But, hey, you go right ahead pursuing an ill-conceived Quixote quest ... and when you end up with the Dems controlling the senate, don’t bother to call yourself a Republican, or a conservative - because your nothing but a gaseous old windbag, spewing know-nothing nonsense.
I’m done with you.
I would agree - but the fact is that such will likely not happen - so that leaves us but one alternative: have our people in every polling station - not volunteers but paid Republican operatives, with legal protection to watch up close and personal ever single ballot, challenging every single signature. You know the drill - as does Trump.
It is an allegorical remark in comparison with committing political suicide, not meant as a actual personal act. A more intense way of stating that one cut off their nose to spite their face. Some people are so damn dense that I am wont to shock them into reality.
Do you even understand what happened here in GA? GOP overseers in certain counties (were Biden had mathematically impossible numbers, by the way) we’re harassed and not allowed to observe. We had attorneys, our GOP chairman filed lawsuits to stop them. In addition, we hand thousands of GOP observers who never got to work, most polling workers were filled by Gabriel Sterling and his deal with the ACLU.
What is worse, the illegal consent decree by the SOS with the democrats that makes signature verification virtually impossible. Out of 1.2 million ballots, only .3% were discarded compared to a normal rejection rate of 3-5%.
Abrams already has her 1 million ballots ready to go as ballot harvesting appears to be legal in GA
Everything that went wrong on Nov 3 is set up to go wrong again because our corrupt SOS did not change any of the procedures and refused to follow up on any fraud or make sure the election is transparent.
It is a third world level election situation happening again, and that is why I support ANYONE fighting to make it right.
.
Not disagreeing with anything you wrote here - but that does not entail refusing to vote in the run-off. If you think the Dems are going to be able to pull off the same BS in this run-off as they did in the general, I must reply that it’s not going to go the way they expect. If they make the attempt to repeat those tactics, somebody is very likely to get shot dead.
Thanks for finally admitting, you have a personal, and professional, relationship with the Republican party, that literally demands your service.
What is your “plan B,” if Trump does not succeed in his legal battle
We're still clearly in Plan A mode. Expose the systemic fraud in the US, that cost Trump and others their races. This fight has not even reached its apex yet. The US Supreme Court hasn't even tipped its hand yet, on a single case!
Yet here you are, trying to sabotage everything. Attacking Trump supporters in vile in despicable ways. Dropping GD and F bombs on us, in a rage. You even told someone to put a gun in their mouth and pull the trigger!
And what had you so incensed, to spout the words of the Devil himself?
Because we were expressing our disappointment that one of the cases supporting Trump in his fight to expose the fraud in America's elections, and yes, that is the central point.
You saw this thread as a convenient gathering of your targets who support Trump, to use your completely IRRELEVANT discussion of a SEPARATE election still a full month away, as a supposed reason to to attack us.
You claimed it was because you are worried about losing the Senate, and that one of the lawyers fighting for Trump might be questioning some of the Republicans motives, when I clearly PROVED to you that the Democrats can ONLY take the Senate if Trump loses, whether those Senate candidates lose their elections or not.
So don't run away now, Mr. Republican Party Spokesman.
Give us your best defense of your Republican party officials in the STATE of Georgia.
That's right. Kemp, Rattenburger, and the like.
Tell us how they are so right, and we are so wrong, to oppose their actions. How they are not working every way possible to hide all the fraud that took place there. Explain why they shouldn't REQUIRE an audit of the mail signatures, and why their secret deal with Stacy Abrams with Democrats wasn't illegal, and led to a fraudulent election
YOU WON'T, YOU COWARD.
Because it goes against your party loyalty, and your desire to see Trump lose, which is all you really care about. Else you'd be dropping your F bombs on the phony Republicans like Kemp who is going to cost us the Senate, by way of Trump losing the tiebreaker vote, which is the only way we lose the Senate.
Bravo!
My standing as an officer in the Republican Party does not compel me to despise President Trump. I support the man in the fullest measure. Doing so does not require me to pursue your foolishness. Nor does it require that I engage in sabotaging the GA Senate run-off. You continue to assert falsehood to the point of liable.
You are either willfully and obstinately ignorant, or else you are insane. In any case, kindly GFY.
+1
BS.
Your pathetic little "statement" rings as hollow as your lack of courage to call out your Republican brethren like Kemp and Rattenberger, who are willfully supporting election fraud.
If continued, your party's attacks on Trump supporters, and our desire to stop election fraud, will be the demise of these Senate candidates, and your party. Looks like you don't care.
President Trump said Sunday at the rally, that the run-off vote counting will be watched closely. How that will happen may be a dramatic event that is now closely guarded. Trump never reveals his move.
I just listened to Jenna Ellis on Greg Kelly’s show on Newsmax. There is Plan A and Plan B. Plan A is to decertify the state elections through the courts. Plan B is to decertify the election through the Republican controlled state legislatures. These state legislatures can convene special elections without the governor’s permission.
Right now, the effort is to convince the state legislatures to convene special sessions to fix the illegal election. If their election was invalidly conducted, they can make remedy of the election by the selection of the electors due to an invalid election. December 14th is the big day.
The more outrageous the ruling, the more likely the Supreme will be compelled to accept an appeal.
The more appropriate term is the case was rejected. Clown show because lawyers didnt pay the fee and they didnt fill out right paperwork.
If you want more info you have to research it yourself
Re: 285 - thanks for explaining.
Go screw yourself, used asswipe.
I’m betting that a mentally-challenged cuck the likes of you has not the balls to make such libelous remarks to my face in person.
I have, on many occasions, dealt with obnoxious clueless fools, such as you, in my capacity as a GOP officer - and I have rolled over them every time. You want to take me on? You will lose. I’ll run circles around your feeble minded nonsense.
One of the benefits of being a political officer in the GOP is the ability to introduce resolutions at state conventions and state committee meetings, to which I have authored and introduced several - all of them condemning establishment GOP hacks - such as my own Senator, Ben Sasse, for his failure to support President Trump.
Likewise, I have had a resolution passed in, at the 2018 Nebraska GOP State Convention, to condemn the Russia “collusion” hoax that was pushed against President Trump - to the chagrin of the establishment hacks that make up Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District ... That resolution, taken up by over 300 delegates present, won by seven votes. Want to guess who opposed my resolution? The RINO delegates who populate Lincoln and Omaha. Days later, I had a NYT reporter call me for an interview over the phone, because I made such a public political impact in the GOP with my successful resolution.
On another occasion, following the passage of Obamacare, I personally publicly destroyed U.S. Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE), at a town hall meeting he held, following his “yea” vote for the socialist monstrosity, leaving him utterly speechless. Moreover, in a room that was literally packed to the walls, I received a standing ovation, and was interviewed by local television stations for my outspokenness.
My local newspaper, the McCook Gazette, has a standing policy of not publishing political opinions; but ended that policy for the very reason of the quality of my “letters to the editor” on such subjects.
So, again, you know-nothing dupe, screw you, and the whore you rode in on!
