In Walled Lake, Michigan, a high school social studies teacher named Justin Kucera was fired because he truthfully said, “Trump is our president”

Until very recently, Justin Kucera was a social studies teacher and baseball coach at Walled Lake Western High School in Walled Lake, Michigan.

Kucera recently made the following tweet: (original, archive)

The text of Kucera’s tweet states:

I’m done being silent.

@realDonaldTrump is our president

Don’t @ me

For this, Kucera was fired.

Some schools refused to hang president Bush’s picture in classrooms; while later they were singing praises to 0bama.

Civil Rights violation

Which one? How?

As I noted on another thread, political views are not protected under employment discrimination regs—that is something that needs to change!!

Under laws enforced by EEOC, it is illegal to discriminate against someone (applicant or employee) because of that person’s race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information.

Maybe it is slam dunk for another reason?

If anyone can find the Superintendents and Principals phone numbers and email addresses, please publish them here. They need a piece of my mind.

With teachers wanting to collect a paycheck while staying home permanently, Trump should announce an initiative to have federal education money follow the student. If school systems are going to be operated virtually, why can’t a student in a poor system “attend” a virtual classroom in a better system in another city, or another state? If the money followed, the highly performing system could pay teachers more or increase instruction staff.

Congress to the rescue (yeah, right) of people like Mr. Kucera whose states are ignoring their constitutionally enumerated protections! /sarc

Patriots are reminded that the states have given Congress the express 14th Amendment power to make penal laws that discourage state actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections.

From the 14th Amendment:

H O W E V E R…

We are still stuck with a worthless, corrupt Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration that will predictably munch popcorn while watching CNN show people like Mr. Kucera wrongly being fired for exercising their constitutionally enumerated rights, 1st Amendment-protected freedom of speech in this example.

The remedy for constitutionally failed federal and state governments…

Patriots need to elect a new patriot Congress that will not only promise to fully support PDJT’s already excellent work for MAGA, but will also do the following.

New lawmakers also need to promise to exercise their 14th Amendment powers by requiring fines and jail time for state officials who harass people like Mr. Kucera for exercising their constitutionally enumerated rights.

Also regarding 14A:

Send "Orange Man Bad" federal and state government desperate Democrats and RINOs home in November!

Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a "third term" in office imo.

Yeah.

If i were him, I’d sue.

That’ll be 1/3rd of his settlement for my legal advice.

No need to pump money into a closed school.

No need to pay a teacher for not teaching either.

Your comment begs the question, what makes a school high performing or failing?

If all the students from a failing school attended a high performing school via online classes would those students become high performing students?

In all the discussions regarding failing/low performing schools I’ve yet to see any explanation as to why they are low performing schools. And what makes a school high performing? Is it the amount of money spent per student? The state of the building? The students themselves in both high and low performing schools seem to be exempt from all responsibility regarding their performance on standardized tests.

It seems to me that the culture of the community in which the school is located plays a significant role in determining whether or not the students test well. Unless the students embrace the idea that education is important then it matters not what kind of instruction they receive.
