Civil Rights violation
____________________________

Which one? How?

As I noted on another thread, political views are not protected under employment discrimination regs—that is something that needs to change!!

Under laws enforced by EEOC, it is illegal to discriminate against someone (applicant or employee) because of that person’s race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information.

Maybe it is slam dunk for another reason?

There are additional restrictions under the 1st and 14th Amendment when the employer is a state actor. Essentially, teachers have free speech protections for political statements made outside working hours.
