My Quest Diagnostics anti-body test was negative. I can't help but feel that there is something fishy with this and the other tests that are being pushed on us.
It seems almost impossible to me that I was not exposed to the novel coronavirus. Here is why I feel that way:
1. About a week after sitting for 3 hours in an enclosed room to hear a young pastor's oral ordination exam, a fellow examiner alerted me that he had tested positive for the virus and his whole house was on lockdown (end of March). Three members of this pastor's congregation were hospitalized and went to their reward.
2. My daughter is an RN. She lives in our home and has had regular exposure to the virus (she uses PPE) and has also tested negative for the antibodies.
3. A young woman who boards with our family works in fast food and the restaurant where she works has had several postive cases.
4. One of the facilities I visit as a hospice chaplain (before the Dr. took me off the road) has had over 79 positive cases and 9 deaths.
How is it possible I have had no exposure? My conclusion-- a. I am lucky; b. I have natural immunity or resistance; c. this virus is not as infectious as the fear mongers want us to believe, OR d. the whole testing thing is an incompetently administrated scam.
Any thoughts?
For all the handwringing only less than 1% of the population of the US has if.
If you havent breathed in the virus or applied it from touching a contaminated surface then you dont have it.
You could also have it (incubation time is 14 days) so your body may not have developed the antibodies yet because youre not yet affected.
East coast. I take zinc, vitamin D, vitamin C, and NAC supplemenst daily.
Thanks for posting.
You took the antibody test. What about a test for the virus itself?
Do you have any underlying conditions, diabetes, hypertension, etc?
I don’t think it is nearly as contagious as they said, except for older folks.
We don’t know the percentage of false positives or false negatives for any of these tests.
Are you taking any natural supplements?
You claim to know people who had it for certain.
Have they been tested by the same test?
If they’re negative then you’d have reason to believe the test is wrong.
I would think anti-bodies would show up if that were the case.
Underlying conditions— hypertension (controlled with losartan.) I also am obese. (This is the one that worries me, but I can do something about it)
I take zinc, vitamin D, vitamin C, and NAC supplements daily.
I say some antibody tests might give errors.
Perhaps you’re taking the right combination.
Depending on how quickly and easily your body knocks something out antibodies are not guaranteed. If your white blood cells just knock the crap out of it before it gets any traction, you get no additional immunity. Cause you don’t need it. This is the challenge of vaccines, how to get enough of it into you to make antibodies without actually making you sick.
1. the accuracy of your specific antibody test is paramount. if it was finger prick it’s likely not very accurate.
see the new test roche has just released on their cobas machine. it’s specificity is claimed to be 99.8% and sensitivity at 100%. those are the kind of numbers you need to be confident in any test. looks good, well see how well the verification goes. but, find a lab that has that test or one with like accuracy.
2. you could have not had time to build up antibodies after exposure. roche says the test should be done 14 days post pcr confirmation test to see the antibodies.
3. get a pcr from a reference lab if you can to see if you are currently infected.
4. i believe covid19 is far less infective than claimed by the the experts. my estimated R0 came up with around 1.1- 1.2. my **opinion** is based on calcs i did based on the infection rates early on in military and cruise ships. so unless you were surrounded by 10-12 infected people, touching everything they touched, chances are you weren’t positive because you weren’t infected.
5. if you’re young and strong with no immuno-comp, you may have been exposed but your body just destroyed the infection. the virus is fragile and easily killed by your bodies own mechanisms and even sunlight destroys it quickly.
6. all these typhoid mary, dying at home, airisol-ization, projectile olympic event sneezing, surface survival for days, etc, stories are just myths, imo. the fear factor is being promoted, but the death counts are imo way over counted, especially in places like urban italy and nyc.
7. lastly maybe you got an inaccurate test and you are positive. so get a confirmatory test. hopefully an accurate one.
oh well, hope that helps you. i wouldn’t waste my time asking for trouble. i personally know no one who’s got it, either. i was actually sick with something in jan, but who knows.
The tests were rushed out and I think there’s quite a few different ones from different sources. I bet some are no good. The CDC’s first ones are known to have been no good. Then there were others that were tainted with the virus itself.
Incompetence or a whole lot of people have TDS so bad and are cold hearted enough to do real evil? #RESIST Look at NY, NJ and CA sending positive cases INTO nursing homes. Oregon locking down til July with less than 200 cases, not quite as evil as causing death but still. Then again, it will cause death as they wreck their State.
Only dead people that were never tested are positive cases cha Ching.
The answer is C. The virus is not as infectious or as deadly as the fearmongers, communists and democrats, but I repeat myself, want us Americans to believe.

Thanks— very helpful. What is your background that you know the science behind the infection rates, etc? Being a humanities person, I am always impressed with Math wizards.
Embrace the power of the word "and."
Even if she were asymptomatic she still would have tested positive for the antibodies.
Fever is the dominant symptom. Another identifying symptom is the loss of smell and taste. Did you lose smell and taste while you had the fever?
what are NAC supplements?
