Please pray for my father. AND my mother.
He called for an ambulance last Wed as he was weakening over the week and did not want to end up stuck in the crowded transient temporary lobby of the ER (bad for an elderly tall man with bad mechanical issues as it is).
I've been there every day since, and as of now the internist doctors see him as a very, very sick man. He goes for a liver/lymph/??? biospy tomorrow to apparently determine if it is lymphoma (originally stated so) or leukemia.
Either way, he does OK but he is still weak and even bed-ridden seems out of breath.

I'm scared. This is really so sudden. He's 81 so that doesn't give me great hope of handling all the procedures possible.
My mother doesn't handle these things well, and has been breaking down for days now. So I have to pray for her too. I don't know how I'm going to handle her, never mind anything bad for my dad.
Just please pray that perhaps he can pull out of this even if rough, and at least strength and courage for my mom and help for the rest of us.

Praying for your dad. If it is any consolation, my father was diagnosed with lymphoma in 1993. He lived until 2015. He got to see all his kids married, settled, a bunch of grandchildren be born, and more. I hope the same is true for your family.
