EDISON - A recent study has ranked New Jersey 47th in the U.S. for the least Christmas-friendly states.
The survey was done by GetCenturyLink.
The rankings were based on online activity and areas of culture.

Edison is EXTREMELY “diverse”....Asia, Middle East, etc. nowhere near what it was 20 years ago.
Looking at the Christmas lights on many homes in many other towns I’d question accuracy.
NORTH Jersey, they mean. which sadly dominates the state and has turned it into one of the worst places in the USA to live for freedom loving people. But still, one portion of the state is somewhat less insane at least but has no real say in anything.
You know I’ve got to jump on here and defend the great state of New Jersey. Its a BS conclusion stemming from seriously flawed methodology. You all just love to hate us! We love holidays of all kind - we’re very festive people here in New Jersey!
You have a strong point...because the methodology of these media-driven rankings (that come out ad nauseum because journalists want to write about stuff like this instead of doing real work) is always ludicrous.
News 12. Figures. I live here. This station is a typical New Jersey Democrat party organ grinder monkey. Christmas isn’t any different here than anywhere else in America. In some places like in Ocean, Monmouth, Warren, Sussex, Cape May, and Bergen Counties to name a few Christmas is done in wonderful splendor, trust me.
All NJ media is complete vomit. They are desperate to keep the a-hole governor afloat because he is despicable as he destroys the state and furiously tries to cover up a rape of a woman by one from his administration.

Florida 48 and Maine number 5! Really Maine is probably the least religious state in America.
The methodology is flawed. Rockettes, live Nativity, Rockefeller center, all the dept store window displays, St. Patrick’s cathedral. How can ny be #34?

Thats ok. Everyone hates new jersey.

Yet, you fly the flag of NY. Amazing.
Not only is it a stupid list but the methodology makes no sense at all. For instance, one of the criteria was number of Christmas tree farms per capita (which is likely why Washington and Maine scored so highly). So apparently because Christmas trees aren’t much grown in Hawaii or Arizona, they lose points.
