Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
What more do we really need to know here? – In case you’re still thinking that the tale being told by Ms. Christine Ford has any credibility to it all, take note of this actual reality about the case:

So, Ms. Ford has claimed that there were five people at the party, and named the other four by name. Each and every one of those four people has now written letters to the Senate Judiciary Committee denying any knowledge of the “party” in question.
Now, add that to Ms. Ford’s own claims that a) she was drunk as a skunk, b) she doesn’t know where the party was held, c) she doesn’t know the date of the party, d) she doesn’t know how she got to the party, and e) she doesn’t know how she got home, and the inescapable conclusion anyone with the ability to think in a rational manner can reach is that there was no party and she is probably lying. There really is no other reasonable way to look at this.
Perhaps then it is completely and, like, totally fitting that lead attorney for the pathological liar Andrew McCabe announced on Saturday that he has joined the gigantic, amazingly expensive legal team for which someone is paying on Ms. Ford’s behalf. (Gosh, isn’t it odd that no one at the New York Times or CNN is working to find out who that might be? Why it’s almost as if the fake news media is afraid of what they might find.)
That’s right: Mike Bromwich has now joined the growing list of high-dollar leftist activist lawyers representing Ms. Ford in this matter. It is quite interesting that Ms. Ford feels the need to bring in a high-powered criminal defense lawyer to help protect her here. Man, it’s just really hard to see why that might be the c…oh, wait. Nevermind.
Also, note the last sentence in the tweet above by Shannon Bream: “5th person – Dr. Ford – is the only one who has not provided them a statement.” It is also key to note that despicable Senator Dianne Feinstein, who received the letter from Ms. Ford that started all of this back in July, still has not been willing to provide an unredacted copy of the letter to the full committee.
What do these two facts tell us? They tell us that, despite the ongoing delay-tactic machinations by her crack, huge, expensive legal team, Ms. Ford probably has no intention at all of showing up to testify. Think about it: Would you? She is telling a story that, even if it happened, was 36 years ago. She is the only person telling this story, which has huge, suspicious gaps in it. She has zero supporting evidence of any kind and even people who describe themselves as “lifelong friends” of Ms. Ford do not support her story in any way.
While Chuck Grassley and Mitch McConnell continue to go along with her lawyers’ stalling tactics under the pretense that she is making a “credible claim” that must be heard, under no circumstances are they going to allow her to testify without being under oath and penalty of perjury. Oh, and by the way, any written statement she provides the committee – most likely including the unredacted letter – would also be provided under potential penalties of perjury.
See where this is going? See why Bromwich, the high-dollar lawyer for the guy who got fired from the FBI for serial perjury, just joined the legal team?
Ms. Ford is nothing but a potential witness to a confirmation process. Nothing more. Dozens of other witnesses have testified during this particular confirmation process, and not one of them felt the need to retain a high-powered criminal defense lawyer or an array of high-dollar attorneys that rival the legal team hired by O.J. Simpson.
Really and truly, what else do we need to know about this case?
While her team of expensive lawyers will no doubt continue their stalling tactics with Grassley and McConnell, at the end of the day you should not expect their client to ever actually show up to testify. Because the retention of Bromwich shows she is very, very concerned about what might follow if she does.

In the end after this political kabuki dance there is no doubt in my mind that this woman will ever appear before the committee. She will have thrown a political stinkbomb in the room which was her intent in the first place and refuse to appear saying she cannot get a “fair hearing”. Which would be a liar’s way of saying I cannot prove my lie.It is unfortunate that this self centered lowlife gave no thought to Kavanaugh’s 2 innocent young daughters who have to live with the fact that their father has been publicly accused of attempted rape which has unfairly been left out there lingering in public as if it were a fact.My sympathy to them.
The testimony is irrelevant. The whole point is the delay. They are trying to delay this nomination past viability.
People who continue to support Blasey-Whored after you point out that the “other female” at the party won’t corroborate her “story” have actual brain damage.
No senator has said she is stripping him of his basic constitutional rights to confront his accuser ?
No one has said she is a Dem donor and left wing activist !
No senator has demanded the letter before we even talk !

The 60 Minutes interview was posted Saturday by a freeper - I guess we’ll see.
Based on some anecdotal evidence that I’ve gleaned so far, I think she may very well be a flake.

This article nails it, but I have to disagree on one point. One of her lawyers is Ricki Seidman, who worked with Anita Hill and also helped to derail Robert Bork’s nomination. A letter has emerged from July where she talks of a strategy to stop Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh’s record is spotless, so this is the strategy- create a charge of sexual misconduct in the era of #metoo
Ford has been part of the plan since day one. She will testify, the media will make sure America believes her. That will give cover for the Trump haters Flake & Corker, lame duck senators to vote against him. Collins and Murkowski will also have the cover they want to vote against him
The GOP weak sisters love getting played and abused.
It’s what they do well.
At this point, the process over the last 2 months is as important as what happened 36 years ago. Senators (Rs at least) would be negligent to not ask her who she’s contacted or been contacted by in the last 3 months. And other questions along those lines. That’s something nobody on her side wants discussed.
There’s little/no risk of perjury on what happened (or not) 36 years ago, but she’d have to refuse to answer over-and-over about the last few months which she should have a clear memory of. That would not look good - and this is all about how it looks to voters in November.
This is about disruption, causing fear to cause more republicans to defect, not about truth

Has anybody on Free Republic suggested that Diane Feinstein be compelled to testify under oath, since she has made herself an actor in this drama? She has surely violated Senate and committee rules, not to mention a few laws (not counting her Chicom spy driver).
Don’t count on her being a flake if she shows. She is a soldier for the left. She scrubbed her social pages for a reason. If she shows she will have had almost 2 weeks of coaching. I have no doubt Flake and the 2 sisters want to vote no. Thay just need some cover and they think that a credible performance will give it to them.
One more reason to get out the vote on Nov Sixth and give President Trump a solid 67% majority in the Senate, staying home plays into Angus King’s hands.
I have been saying for several days that she will not testify under oath, although we will probably hear from her in a venue crafted by her handlers, something like 60 Minutes. Crazy unverifed rumors claim that she is on the East Coast and has been for several days. That makes sense because that is where the handlers are.
I don’t know if she is telling the truth, but I’m certain that she has had prep sessions with her handlers who are all very smart and are combat veterans of character assassinations. They are stalling, in part, because they have learned that Frau Docktor Professor Ford is verrueckt (crazy). You don’t put crazy people on the witness stand under oath.
