The word behind the word is that Paul Manafort is already earning his keep BIG TIME as he moves to deliver a stunning blow to the Cruz campaign a source describes as a potential “punch to the face” that involves the number 172.
Here is a brief summary of what will simply be called the “172 Plan” :
**Talks are ongoing and more numerous between Team Trump and a second party over the last 48-hours.
**If these talks lead to an agreement, it will be a game-changer in the 2016 Republican nomination process.
**Manafort is said to be personally leading the negotiations with Donald Trump’s full approval. In fact, it’s believed Manafort was the first to suggest this scenario last month but did so then more as an observer of the campaign. Now he is a top-ranking operative/adviser for Team Trump.
**This ongoing negotiation has sent the Cruz campaign scrambling to block further negotiation from materializing and getting a considerable assist from powerful GOP forces.
Trump might go with Kasich and Cruz might go with Rubio. Wouldn’t that be interesting??? Kasich has all said that he is holding his delegates for the convention (and gathering as many as he can) and Rubio has done the same..

Kasich and Cruz are all-in for TPP and that will finish off America. Hard to stop now that Cruz helped pass TPA but we’d better hope someone kills the beast.
Could be Rubio, but remember that this week KasichK campaign apparently worked with Trump campaign to oust Cruz in Michigan.
Folks get all wrapped up in words like ‘stealing delegates’ when its just the way politics is played. Who makes the best deal or organizes best wins.
I am about a millimeter close to refusing to vote for Trump in November, so his team of punks had better watch themselves. If Trump has something to say, he should have the courage to face Ted one-on-one in a debate and say it.
Not only did Trump debate Cruz over a dozen times....he took on Cruz, Rubio, Paul, Walker, Bush, Fox News, CNN, the entire audience all at the same time! And still won the Debate!
The original plan to take Trump out by destroying him in the debates is over!
Besides delegate stealing, you need to come up with a new plan! Maybe you can fake an assault on a reporter or something or some other clever scheme that hasnt already been tried before? Maybe try the KKK thing.

Wow he makes me sick. To think I bought his book “A Time For Truth”. I actually believed he was “the only principled candidate in the race”. He proved how stupid I was to believe him. Six months ago no one would have believed Cruz would be where he is right now - in bed with the GOP elite.
