So why don't I like Donald Trump?
The Briefing Room ^ | October 4, 2015 | andy58-in-nh/Andrew Kone

I'm a Tea Partier. I detest Obama and the Progressive hoard that has Washington, DC and large portions of America in a death grip. So why don't I like Donald Trump?

Honestly, sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with me these days. Why can't I get on the bandwagon along with so many others with whom I agree about most everything? ...

So what's the problem with Trump? In a nutshell: judgment, or rather a deficit of it, which in turn ought to make reasonable people otherwise inclined to agree with him to perhaps, think a bit harder about the consequences of their support for him in a precarious and dangerous world ...

You are not getting the Flat Tax in this lifetime.

At least his plan will get the economy moving again, like the 1980s.

There is no evidence of that idea.

His taxation of investment income and upper disposable income is an economy killer.

I absolutely agree with that. We need to get behind him.

I hate to say it but you, and your attitude, you are the reason conservatives can't win.

I will not change my mind. Cruz is not Reagan, not even close.

Reagan was a Governor and worked hard to get where he did. He was not only 44 years old, not a freshman senator, had a tremendous personality and a manly voice that drew people in.

Cruz may have stood up in the Senate, but he hasn't won any of those battles.

Even Scott Walker has accomplished more. Legal battles and lawyers are fine, but many do not possess executive experience. Cruz would be a fine SCOTUS appointment.

your tap dancing round Trump’s cronyism is very worshipful........no one is forced to use eminent domain, or cronyism, to do deals.......and sure as hell that person is not the person to end all of this.

You’re nuts!

He has been responsible for Boehner’s resignation.

He is responsible for the fact that we are not under the world court.

He is responsible for the Heller case surviving in the court.

He is the only federal elected official that has accomplished anything in the last 4 years.

Your attitude is the sole reason for every failure the American people have endured since Reagan left office.

He is not the only person responsible for Boehner quitting. What victory is that if another uber RINO takes the job? Perhaps he should take the job, right?

People like you make stuff up to fit your narrative.

Nope, it is people like you who are wanting it all at once and putting up a guy who will not be able to win. That is as bad as the GOPe who thinks that they can keep putting up a McCain or a Romney. Doomed for failure from the start.

If you don’t win, you get nothing you want at all. NOTHING.

You do get another 4 years of bitchin’ and moaning though.

You are welcome.
I always capitalize the word because, as evidently many don’t know it is an acronym for Taxed Enough Already.
And despite what many, on this forum now believe, we are not liars.
I guess I’ll have to find my super-secret TEA Party membership card, and decoder ring! :)
Maybe, just a picture of my car from 2010-2011 with a flipping teabag hanging from the rearview mirror!

‘Cruz may have stood up in the Senate, but he hasn’t won any of those battles.’

This is why, sans evidence, they give Cruz credit for what Mark Meadows and Walter Jones did. If Cruz had similar victories of his own, they would not need to detract from Meadows’ and Jones’ courage and achievement.

So Conservatives should rejext Trump—who should they support? Jeb Bush? Rubio? Another GOPe set up to lose to the party in Power for a 3rd Obama Term? Why even have elections? Put in Obama for life as a King? At this point only Trump is speaking up for the common man—an unlikely hero, this is true. But The only one left to us once the Carl Roves of the world have gleened out any real man.

I hate George Will. I consider him one of the worst.

But is he part of the media?

OF COURSE!

To say otherwise is purely demented.

And that’s what you are. Demented. You have this demented theory that the Trump candidacy is a put-up job by the MSM and then when I offer you a prime piece of contrary evidence (the fact that George Will a prime member of the MSM is being driven stark raving mad by Donald Trump) you concoct some fantasy demented response about how Will is not in the MSM.

George Frederick Will (born May 4, 1941) is an American newspaper columnist and political commentator. He is a Pulitzer Prize–winner best known for his conservative commentary on politics. In 1986, The Wall Street Journal called him “perhaps the most powerful journalist in America,” in a league with Walter Lippmann (1889–1974).[1][2] — Wikipedia

I don’t post that quote to in any way boost George Will... I post it to show you he is part of the MSM.

Ok then.

If not George Will, who then?

Who is an example of a media personality who is part of the “media construction” of the Trump candidacy?

Can’t think of an actual NAME?

Can’t think of an actual SPECIFIC EXAMPLE?

...didn’t think so.

It’s the definition of demented. Which is what you are.

I’m not going to give up. I’m going to answer the Demented One’s every demented post. Not up-to-the-minute, because I do have a life, but I will always get back and answer his dementia point by point.
