I won't take a lot of time on this. Trump's liberalism is well documented: gun control, abortion, Sodomite rights, illegal immigration, giving to the Clinton Foundation, taxes, single-payer, not a sincere Christian, and whatever else you got.
He's a liberal. I will not vote for a liberal. People on FR are being duped by the media into nominating someone who turns off a huge chunk of the base. Even if Trump can pull in enough Low Information Votes to become president, the conservatives still lose.
Trump? Anti-cronyism?
::blinks::
Where have you been the past 40 years?
And, neither are 15 of the other candidates.
Anyone who watched Trump’s show knows he’s going to disappoint social conservatives. When the task winner’s reward is a trip to the Playboy Mansion or lunch with Chuckie Schmuck Schumer, you know he’s not Reagan.
My hope is that he’ll shake up the field, get some good shots in at Hillary that the Lo Fos can’t ignore and then melt down so America can discover Cruz late in the game. Right now, there are too many other names for Cruz to get traction but if he can outlast about half the field before Trump bows out, I think he can put on a late surge to get the nomination. Every outrageous thing Obama does strengthens Cruz as the blowback candidate.
>>I rate the “gay thing” and abortion among “the things that matter the most.” There’s no way I want Trump to win<<
The “Gay thing” is now a Civil Right according to the SCOTUS. How is any President going to rescind a Civil Right?
Trump supports the 20 Week Abortion Bill (it should be 12 Weeks) and I believe he has said he wanted Planned Parenthood Defunded because of their Gruesome Practices that have been exposed.
Any other Republican looking to Ban Gay Marriage and completely eliminate Abortion? Do you actually think that can be accomplished? Restricting Abortion is the best you can hope for, which is why the 20 Week Ban is a good start.
Remember, President Reagan was Pro Life, but 35 Years later Taxpayer Funded Abortion is still going on in this Country.
I support Cruz and he can do no more that Trump could do when it comes to these issues. If Reagan couldn’t get it done when we had a much more favorable Conservative Demographic than we do today, it will never get done.
No he’s not. Read my friend. Or just listen to what he says, not what the media says he has said.
Huckabee is a Southern Baptist, as is Cruz, and Walker. Kasich is Anglican - I think 6 of the others are Catholic. We aren’t voting for a pastor or priest, however, we do want someone who honors God, but, trust me - Huckabee isn’t superior nor does he have the only line to heaven.
And even if Trump in the past was liberal, I think eight years of Obama have opened up a lot of peoples’ eyes, and made them rethink their liberalism.
Cruz is the only one I know of.
That is the same old leftist lie. You don’t have to settle with Trump. He is the the new Ross Perot.
A late arrival from Mars has just checked in I see.
No, he is the new Ross Perot.
I judge people by their deeds and their associations...
The Koch brothers deeds impress me. Trumps do not.
Trumps associations are primarily hard core leftists.. Anyone willing to play their game is not worthy of my vote nor my support.
Cruz is the only one what? I don’t understand your reply unless you mean Southern Baptist. Walker is also the son of a SB pastor, and Huckabee is also SB. Trump is Presbyterian.
Exactly where you think it is.
His um...lustiness would almost be charming if he wasn’t a serial rapist.
Ugh. Hillary has a cross necklace on. It should be an inverted one.
Reminds me of that iconic photo of Romney, signing Romneycare.
And Newt and Nancy on the couch.
Hmmm, Billy Graham associated with every President - Democrat and Republican. I guess he isn’t worthy of your respect either. Don’t worry - Trump won’t miss your vote.
Reagan was an FDR Democrat for years.....Yet Reagans victories were because a large block of his support came from ‘traditional Democrats’ and Union members .. who had never before abandoned their party in such massive numbers....even though traditional Democrats had differed with Reagan over policy, they still supported him because they acknowledged that he possessed the capacity to inspire a people and successfully lead a nation.
Trump has come to this side...we didn’t go to him.....
My gosh there was a big difference in how I saw things before I became a Christian and after.....
People change in life and especially as they grow older...
