Coca Cola is running ads that will appear on buses and signs featuring a gay couple and their adopted child.
The ad shows a picture of two men holding a baby, playing with crayons. A bottle of Coca Cola is next to them.
Over their heads reads, "We choose happiness ~over~ tradition. -the Van Bergen family." In the bottom right corner it reads, "#choosehappiness:"
The ad implies that, though their family is not "traditional," the Van Bergens are happy. They also drink Coke:
This gay agenda is the fever of our times.
It is a lie - I have known quite a few gay men. Few are in “committed relationships” and among those, none are monogamous. They suffer disproportionately from disease, dependency, depression and violence. Children finding stability and success in such an environment is an extreme long-shot.
Don’t believe the propaganda.

Coke obviously didn’t learn anything from JCPenney’s gay ad campaign. I knew I didn’t like Coke for more than one reason. Chunky industrial waste puke.

You raise a good point over this being anti-traditional values.
The ad presents happiness vs tradition as a choice.
In other words, one can’t be/have both. In order to be happy you must reject tradition.
So as much as this is promoting the happiness of a same-sex family, it’s also an attack on traditional families. Who are, given the choice presented, unhappy.
If people want a way to go after Coke on this, THAT is the route to take.

Finally getting around to watching Mad Men, about 1/2 way through season 3. It’s 1963 in the show and Admiral Televisions is appalled that advertising firm is suggesting a campaign aimed at Negros.
Interesting when viewed in context of this new ad campaign today as far as how much the world has changed in 50 years.
Coke hasn’t exactly been growing over the last few years. In fact, I recently read where their Diet Coke is down 5%.
If they don’t like my values, I won’t be buying their products. I will communicate this to several of my family members too.
Besides, their products are bad for you.

Why the desire to raise a child if they are truly homosexual? Wouldn’t their nature proclude them from having that desire or are they denying their true nature and chosing to enter into unnatural sexual relations?
