NBCs Andrea Mitchell struggled to get something off her chest during Sundays Meet the Press....
......You know Im not echoing Reince Priebus, because he is obviously partisan, and thats his job, she said haltingly. But if you look at all the reporting from the jobs data on Friday reported that participation rates are at historic lows, decades lows. Fifty-nine percent are not involved in the labor force. Thats just not a sustainable recovery.

She looks like someone squeezed her head in a vise. She could look through a keyhole with both eyes.
At least she has a brain that works very well.
TC
Good lord, Angrea thinks she’s nonpartisan, lol.
If she’s off the plantation that means her husband is.
What? She’s just now figuring this out? Lord help us.
But, but Obama the wonder king says the US is recovering nicely, unemployment is falling and ObamaCare is working. Right, I own the Mackinac Bridge and it is free to crossover. Obama is a liar - actually he is trained rhetorician - better known as a bottom feeding scavenger - attorney
I watched the clip and noticed the panel of leftist douches.... What, Howard Dean and Bill Press weren’t available? Wow, sure glad I never watch that show.
LOL
Yes Andrea Mitchell.... 2 + 2 REALLY DOES equal 4.
Thank you for speaking the truth for once in your life.
I’m just glad that somebody has noticed the t*rd in the punchbowl.
LOL! Yes sir!
I hope that hurt.
How dare one of the king’s jester’s question reports by other of the king’s jesters, off with her head.
Underlying her brief moment of clarity, and the reason she is troubled, is the deep seated leftist assertion that the government is a benign non-invested entity.
Now they’ll have to up her dosage.
“Fifty-nine percent are not involved in the labor force.”
Wait a minute, I only pay very cursory attention to economic stories like these, but I don’t remember hearing that stat before.
59% of what? The US Population? Or working age people? That is really some bad number right there. No, obviously 40% of the people can’t support 60% of the people, not for very long anyway.
Sheesh almighty.
Your view of mathematics seems quite partisan to me, but I'm willing to admit that some of what you say may be correct.
I don’t think the 59% number is right. I think it is 59% of people are participating in the work force to some degree. Last I heard, it was 100+million were not in the work force.
At one time, low interest rates may have been about stimulating the Economy. But for at least the last 25 years, they’ve been about keeping the US deficit affordable—period. If rates go up, the deficit will explode in a way that will make it obvious the Entitlement State is unsustainable. That can’t be allowed, so they will stay low. If the 10 UST rate ever approaches 4%, watch out. That is the tipping point.
I’m sure Andreal knows this, if only because her hubby (Alan Greenspan) told her so. But she will probably never say it aloud. This admission is as close to a confession as you will get from her.
Fixed that For you Andrea.
How can you say the economy has recovered when a smaller percentage of the working age population is working since the bad old days of Jimmy "Malaise" Carter.
She is just repeating pillow talk from Alan Greenspan.
