Wait a minute, I only pay very cursory attention to economic stories like these, but I don’t remember hearing that stat before.
59% of what? The US Population? Or working age people? That is really some bad number right there. No, obviously 40% of the people can’t support 60% of the people, not for very long anyway.
Sheesh almighty.
I don’t think the 59% number is right. I think it is 59% of people are participating in the work force to some degree. Last I heard, it was 100+million were not in the work force.
