We have already discussed how Senator Dick Durbin seems to believe the First Amendment may not apply to bloggers. Newsflash to the good Senator, but the First Amendment applies to every American, no matter if they are a journalist or not. If you believe Senator Durbin is the only government official attacking the First Amendment, think again. Did you know the Obama administration is going on the offensive against posts on social media that are critical of Muslims? That's right! They do not want us criticizing Islam on Facebook, Twitter, etc. I would assume that includes blogs such as this. They are warning that doing so could be violating the civil rights of Muslims. If you have followed the activities of the Obama administration for the past four plus years, that should come as no surprise.
Grumpy Opinions - Before I digress to far.. The Department of Justice has taken it upon them selves to decide what American Citizens are allowed to say, not just DOJ employees, but all Americans. And if you break their rules, you can go to prison. Starting tomorrow, Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee will start educating people about the repeal of the First Amendment, only he want call it that Instead hes going to tell us if you criticize Murdering Islamic Terrorists, the DOJ might decide youre violating their Civil Rights..I suggest you finish reading about Eric Holder's sting operation on Timothy McVeigh. It will make you wonder exactly what went on leading up to the bombing in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995. But, that's the subject of another post.He will use the Oklahoma City Bombing to try and convince us that the real terrorists are Christians.. He wont mention that Timothy McVeigh was a self professed Atheist. Instead, hell lie and play the race card, McVeigh becomes proof the White Christian Males are Terrorists.. Hell also neglect to mention that McVeigh was the subject of one of Eric Holders Sting Operations
It amazes me that our government is so ready and willing to restrict the First Amendment rights of American citizens. Just because we believe Islam is not a religion of peace should not be cause to restrict our right to state our opinion. It seems to be perfectly acceptable to state your opinion about Christianity, but Islam and Muslims are off-limits. If you do not like Christians, then so be it. The First Amendment covers that, but not the freedom to call Islam what it really is? Since when does the First Amendment not grant us the right to do that?
I can not tell you the number of times I have heard Christians be told they should sit down and shut up. Almost every time that happens, the excuse is given that Christianity has no place in a public forum or in our government. We are told we should keep our opinions to ourselves, yet Muslims are granted their First Amendment rights without question. The disparity is troubling.
The aim of the Department of Justice operation is clear. It's called intimidation. Just as the IRS was used to intimidate conservative groups, the DOJ is embarking on a trip to intimidate those who would criticize Islam and Sharia Law into silence. I, for one, will not be silent. Radical Islam is the greatest threat this world is facing. Yes, I know not all Muslims are radical terrorists, but it's beginning to get very difficult to tell the difference between the two.
But, of course.
The corrupt pro-al Qaeda US Senate wants Laws to
suppress Americans and make THEMSELVES RICHER.
A few in the Senate belongs in prison
for misprision of felony and production of false
documents (Pelosi), and for allowing treason,
and a sell-out of the American people.
Maybe July 4th would be a good day to post millions of vicious anti-muslim comments across the nation. We need to exercise our rights if we are to keep them
Starting with the so called Leader. DIRTY, DINGEY & CORRUPT HAIRY REID. YES, "HAIRY" SPELLED WRONG ON PURPOSE.
Posting Romneys' tax information would be enough to get most people investigated and tried and convicted. . . .
No I was not a big fan or Romney. Yes he would be a better president than the lousy community orgazizer.
If it was at all advantageous for Obama to put soldiers in my bedroom, the 3rd would be gone.
They'll never agree to just go peacefully. We may need an ELE here, natural or otherwise. LOL!!!
("ELE" = "Extinction Level Event")
;^\
That's what the Boston evacuation fiasco was about.
Feds suggest anti-Muslim speech can be punished

When people, like those in congress and the 0bama regime, threaten to take away my GOD given rights, then I’m inclined to want to deprive THEM!
If the government would never infringe upon our rights and we could count on the men and women running government to always look out for us ... then why did the founding fathers feel the need for the Bill of Rights? Why would we have to expressly forbid the government from infringing upon these rights?
Because everyone who thinks about it for more than 30 seconds realizes they would if they could. They want to, some in government desperately, fervently hope to be able to stomp on some or all of them, but they can't blatantly do so because of the BoR. But the government - those in power and control for now - are always trying to expand their power and control. Our rights are under continual attack in ways big and small. They may have the best of intentions (or not), but in reality we are best served long term and as a whole by freedom and liberty. Not more government interference and control.
The only amendment they believe in is the Fifth.
They don’t even believe in that. The Supreme Court ruled just the other day that the police can forcibly take a DNA sample from you.

Welcome to Canada. We already have Human Rights Commissions that criminalize criticism of Islam. (But are silent about Islamic hate towards Christians or Jews)
