Editors Note: In December ‘08 a retired CIA officer commissioned an investigator to look into the Barack Obama birth certificate and eligibility issue. On July 21, 2009 westernjournalism.com obtained a copy of the investigator’s report. Here is an unedited version of the report.

I think that I now understand the legal background to the question of where Obama was born.
Let’s begin with the statement that Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health released on October 31, 2008. The television and print media used this statement as a reason to prevent and treat with contempt any investigation into whether Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii. But the language of the statement was so carefully hedged and guarded that it should have had the opposite effect.
“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record. Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”

What I meant is that it all goes away for obama supporters defending him in court over this issue. There are several lawsuits out there to produce a real birth certificate. Those lawsuits would all be dismissed. However, it is only one facet in his hidden past. And since he has been the acting president for 9 months, it would be all but impossible to unseat him for being a fraud. Don’t get me wrong here, obama was not held to the proper standards but he is in the white hut and it would take a determined congress to actually enforce the laws. obama has a compliant congress and press and I don’t see that happening. But, we should never give up in our efforts to expose the fraudelent president for who he is. This is a non shooting (for now) war on many fronts. obama and his team are working to destroy the Constitution and we are working to expose him as the marxist dictator wanna be that he is and protect our protection from a domineering government.
You are definitely NOT "neutral" when you PING an "After-Birther" as happened at # 8 on this "sensitive" issue!

Buckey has made serious attempts to spam and encourage other "After-Birthers" to spam the rest of us when we discuss the usurper's sealed records. It would be appropriate for the Moderators to admit they made a huge mistake and apologize for it. Otherwise I think you generally do a great job and are fair!!!

The Admin Mod pinged BT Because BT holds the FRWW ping list.
Perhaps what could be done in the future is to mark the ping as "Welcome Wagon PING" or some such.
Likewise BT should ping the FRWW list with a public "WELCOME WAGON" ping. BT hasn't posted anything on this thread one way or another He has only tried to describe what was going on. As payment he was attacked.
Read the Mod Lecture series thread linked to earlier. It describes the whole issue. We have a huge gang of people (not always the same ones) calling for the kitties the moment something gets posted that they don't agree with.
The thrust of this whole issue is that we are running people off before we actually know who they are. Some of these folks may be innocently misguided and if we treat them well we can convert them over.
Attack the ideas all you want, but don't attack the people. Conservatism is compelling enough that if people are exposed to our ideas most of them will eventually see the truth of them.
Don't call them trolls or call the kitties until the people have shown themselves to be unteachable.
Now, on to the topic of the thread. I'm not into labels at all so I'm not sure what birther or anti-birther means (I just don't pay attention)
I am pretty certain that obama is a moslem who was born in Kenya to parents that have not satisfied the requirements for their children to be Natural Born American citizens. If he was eligible he would have presented a valid birth certificate. (So for future discussion does that make a birther or an anti-birther?)

As someone who frequents neither the birther threads nor the Religion threads I can say that the FReeper Welcome Wagon ping was innocent and did NOT have an ulterior political motive. BuckeyeTexan VOLUNTEERED to host the ping list yesterday - out in the open - in a thread I'll link at the bottom of this reply.
The problem identified by the mods (and the rest of us) is that just about everybody these days, newbie or old soldier, is being accused of being a troll at the first hint of disagreement of any kind. Experienced FReepers don't care but newbies are being put off and are RIGHTFULLY complaining that they are being misunderstood. And that's very easy to believe around here in the no-tolerance-or-ZOT zone.
The Welcome Wagon idea itself is less than 24 hours old and is a work in progress. It is OPEN, NON-SECRET and, hopefully, non-threatening.
There is no reason to back off intellectually from a newbie but keep the IBTZ posts - and especially personal attacks - to a minimum until a newbie gets a chance to explain themselves.
Isn't it a FReeper Principle to get your facts straight before spouting off at the keyboard? I think it is. This is all that is being asked of anyone. We'll keep working until the Welcome Wagon is a seamless introduction for newbies and also a warning to trolls.

Oh give me a break. Let’s address a few things.
First of all, the FReeper Welcome Wagon program is out in the open for all to see and the link to it was posted on this thread before anyone was pinged.
Second, if we see fit, we will ping someone. If we did so in private, we would be getting the complaints that the mods are doing things in secret. If we do it in public, we would get complaints it isn’t proper. The only common pattern is someone will complain about something.
Third, we don’t keep track of who is on what side or the other of the birth certificate issue- frankly, I don’t think that is a job Jesus Himself would want. A lot of you are asking why isn’t something done about X member or Y member. Well, guess what, none of you would be around because at one time or another, most of you have reported each other for being anti-birthers because someone asked something wrong or wasn’t clear in a statement- even the most vocal of you. Our position is “let the debate happen” and we give both sides a lot more leeway on this issue than we do most others.
Fourth, I didn’t respond because I was asleep. Most of these comments seemed to have happened after 1AM my time.
This thread is the exact type that we created a welcome wagon. A new member signs up and within minutes, we see IBTZ.
The ironic thing is, from reading this article, the OP seems to be on the “Obama must show is birth certificate” side, yet, the one person willing to step up and welcome him is someone you describe as an anti-birther.

Well John O that sounds just great but, many of us had read the Western Fraud page before and this FRWW to BT on this subject made the thread go off the rails.
Got no problem with FRWW and no problem with BT. This was not handled well, though I think the Religion Mod seemed reasoned and reasonable.
This whole fiasco of openly pinging BT, who is an agressive contrarian on this subject and then seeing his post to the NoOb had everyone thinking the Admin was in cahoots with BT and his wingmen.
The Admin could have been a little more vocal about intent instead of pointing us to a rule book.
It gave an air of colusion with a mod.
For BT’s part, stand up guy and that none of his wingmen showed up, proves his intent to welcome people in and ease them into the FR culture.
On the issue of NoObs or Trolls, some of us pretty much expected that pitiful site and the poster to never return and guess what? They didn’t so that makes them whatever that makes them. Maybe a drive by.

Actually, no I don't see it as derogatory. I don't believe Obama is an NBC and I've referred to myself as a birther until very recently.
Birthers here have used that term to refer themselves. They've created images using the term as a proud label. They just don't want anyone who disagress with them in some aspect to use it.
I'm a conservative. Shouldn't I be just as offended at being called an afterbirther and an anti-birther? Maybe everyone should reconsider their choice of words and not just me.
In other words, the post is looked at, then responded to in a contrarian fashion that addresses only the points their mind can handle but, completely ignores substantive points.
Just because you consider certain FReepers to be trolls, (afterbirthers, whatever) doesn't make it so. Every FReeper, including the ones you don't like, has a right to engage in discussion on the eligibility threads until JimRob or the Mods says they don't.
