You can clearly see her book "I am Barack Obama" on a stand to the left of the kids by the stage. She was there to pimp her book. She is a former Harvard Law School friend of Obama's.

She is the Senior VP of Programs for the Jamestown Project...

Drudge posted the video on his page and I spoke to the guy who posted the video tonight for over an hour. He emailed Charisse as a "fan" and got her to give up that the school was in South Jersey...

This is not surprising. I expect we'll soon hear of hatred of opposition being taught in schools. It wouldn't surprise me to hear of radicals sent to seminars in Gaza on how to advance hatred and intolerance views into our education system.

It has been so long, and I went to parochial school. So people can just walk in off the street, take over a classroom full of kids, and make videos for political purposes? Has that always been the case in public schools? If anyone and everyone can do that, when do the kids learn to read and do math? Can the parents decline to have their children participate?

Maybe not, but they were certainly complicit if they allowed it without question. In the “bad old days” of when I was in school, the teachers pretty much ran a tight ship. Nothing happened in class unless they were okay with it.

Think about how long it would have take to get those kids to memorize that song. You can’t do that in one or two tries. The black boy on the far right hasn’t got it down....neither does the black girl on the far left...but that had to be quite a long time to get them to know that song. Were they given a handout???

Maybe she held up a poster with the words. There is something on the projection screen..probably the book. So were they performing for an audience?

I was a K-8 teacher my first five years out of college (and later at the college level for 10). As a teacher, I would not have let this happen, no matter what a principal told me to do.

I am a teacher at a university and everything I do in class is focused on learning the subject. Now, granted, it is engineering, and that by nature keeps you pretty focused, but still, even in secondary and grade school, we have to get away from this touchy-feely “inspirational” and “motivational” stuff, and back to helping students learn. Personal pride, parental approval, and self-initiated desire to achieve and be self-reliant were all the inspiration and motivation I needed, and I don't think of myself as all that exceptional or special. If a dummy like me can do it, most everyone should be able to do it.

The one at Hannity’s link has 4500 comments, none positive that I could see. I think this has been posted several times after the original post, from the author pimping her book, was taken down, so there are many copies of it on Youtube.
