I am so grieved by the travesty that occurred this evening in Washington. I am saddenned and extremely concerned for the future of our country and am looking for a way to express it.
Whatever happened to the activism of the 80s?! I remember seeing news coverage of groups of people picketing with "throw the bums out" signs, sending tea bags to Washington, the term limits and divided government concepts being debated on talking-heads shows.
Are any organizations leading the charge here? I know there are Freeps in Washington, but there has to be something we here in fly-over country can do--and I am sick of calling dem staffers who could care less about my views.
I came up with several ideas---flying flag upside down, sending tea bags to Washington, some sort of ribbon or bumper sticker campaign
--somehow conservatives need to start building momentum to mitigate this disaster. Any ideas/thots
Don’t send new tea bags, they will only use them or donate them. Why waste good tea bags?
Green ribbons already stands for somehing (Celiac Awareness).

I have turned my flag upside down. I think that is it!!! Put upside down flag magnets on your car - everyone wear your flag pin on you lapel upside down. Get US stamps that are flags and put them upside down when you mail! Put flag stickers upside down on mail.
Who's in - shall we start a campaign. Facebook page, facebook group, website. How do we start?

It seems to me that McCain is another one that can be counted on to stick a knife in the back of a conservative when it suits his need to be self important. Forgive me, I know the list is much longer, but this is my first post, so come on you pros, let us get this list together and demand that our new Republican leader clean this house and reserve all monetary support for conservative candidates.
It is time to tell the blue-bloods to get on board with true conservative values or take a hike!

They are going to push as much Communism on us as fast as they can. There will come a breaking point.
I've thought about these as well. I'm on board for the mail. I have debated in the magnets for vehicles, simply because I don't trust libs to not key my car, they are so peaceful and all. /sarcasm

That would certainly show displeasure with the census crap. Is there any violation for not filling out the census and I too was wondering about not paying taxes. It seems money is the only thing they pay attention to.
These people who have come into power aren't the people who makes America work. America works not BECAUSE of this egotistical bunch, but DESPITE them. Let them run their course, then the producers will step in and take over again.
