I never thought I'd see the day when Freepers let the lying leftist media lead them around by the nose. I am a Cruz supporter. I also like Trump and Carson. Politico is doing a massive distortion smear on Carson, typical of the leftist media machine. They are very sophisticated at using lies and distortion and making it seem based on truth and objective analysis. If one wants to accept the leftist narrative and run with the leftist pack because it feels god, so be it. Yet don't cry when the same is done to Donald Trump and Ted Cruz,...

Link is to the debate. Go to 13:15 in. Anderson Cooper asks a complicated question listing Hillary's political flip flops, including a bit of a zinger at the end of the question. Without taking even a half second to react to the question or zinger, much less ponder a response, she launches into a prepared mini-speech. Cooper was part of the Clinton foundation. Anyone doubt he slipped her questions ahead of the debate?

My daughter, who is her junior year in high school, is in the second year of the two-year course in American History. Her teacher, who has been out of college for maybe 4-years, is a typical college indoctrinated leftist, who literally spent time in his youth personally hanging around with Howard Zinn. I have been very successful in helping my daughter counter his teachings about Progressivism at the turn of the 20th century, and his presentation of the "Robber Barons" and the evils of capitalism. To his credit, although he has disagreed with her positions and counter arguments, he has...

In days of yore the Lie was 'No one is talking about Confiscation', but something has changed as of late. Such talk is now common amongst the national Socialist elite despite the lack of a shooting being prevalent in the media. It is axiomatic that one does not call for confiscation until its foundational steps are in place: Intergalactic Background Checks and Registration. The reason should be clear to everyone, people need to be fooled into registering their firearms with the solemn promise that it won't lead to confiscation. This was the case in the UK for example, were the...

Trump 24. Carson 23. Rubio 14. Cruz 13. Bush 4. Christie, Fiorina, Kasich 3. Carson over Clinton by 10; Rubio by 5; Cruz by 3; Christie by 6. Trump loses by 3. Republicans insanely excited to win. Details at source. It's time for the RNC to step in and say, "enough 10 or 11-person circuses. Let's have a real debate." There are 4 candidates who got statistically significant leads over me, a random freeper. (Bush 4, Me 0 is certainly a valid lead, but not significant!)

Good Morning, Fellow FReepers: Today is Election Day in Kentucky - polls are open until 6 PM local time (Eastern for part of the state, Central for the other). This is projected to be a very low turnout election, therefore, boosting the conservative turnout just slightly can help. It's very difficult to get through to national talk shows, but if someone today could happen to get through to shows like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mike Gallagher, etc. and include in your call with a message similar to the below: "...before I go, I wanted to remind everyone it...

"This is what I mean when I say being an effective opposition party. I think being an effective opposition party means being honest with people upfront about what it is we can and cannot achieve." - Speaker Paul "Squish" Ryan Where would we be if our forebears had Ryan's fighting spirit? Great "Ryan" moments in history: "Give me Liberty, or give me whatever you want!" - Patrick "Ryan" Henry "It's too cold here and the outcome is doubtful anyway, so we should all just go home and cozy up to the fire. To hell with the revolution." - General George...

SNL is live TV. Most forget that, including NBC. Where Trump could break it open and essentially break it off in his opponents is to go on SNL and give the monologue of his life. Something to the effect of: "Good evening!" Applause "Thank you!" Applause "I'm happy to be here on SNL. I'm a New Yorker, and SNL is a New York institution. SNL came up big after the 9/11 attacks. I love it because its the last bastion of dangerous TV there is. It's live. Now, I'm not going to Charles Rocket my way to glory here, but...

Six rather relatively well known dystopian themed movies. Excerpts taken from IMDB. If you like dystopian themed movies you've probably seen all 6. My favorite is Rollerball. Which one do you think the world is striving for? --- THX1138 -- Set in the 25th century, the story centers around a man and a woman who rebel against their rigidly controlled society. Director George Lucas. Logan's Run -- An idyllic sci-fi future has one major drawback: life must end at 30. Director Michael Anderson Roller Ball (1975) -- In a corporate-controlled future, an ultra-violent sport known as Rollerball represents the world,...

We All Have Our Choice We all as conservatives made up our mind who we want for our nominee/president. That's why I stay here, year after year. I hear your input of why and sometimes put mine out there. Ultimately We ALL Want the Same Person. Conservative, with family values, honor and less government control over our lives. Simply just give US our Country Back. I fly my own flag on my house year round. I'm proud to be an American but I'm not proud of the people that I call slackers allow a two term Obama. I want US...

October 30, 2015 Does Hillary Clinton Have PBA (Psuedo Bulbar Affect) By smoothsailing I've always wondered what makes Hillary Clinton laugh so weirdly and at such odd times. It seems to be more prevalent since her head injury and extended hospitalization preceding her first Benghazi hearing appearance. At her second appearance recently her seemingly uncontrollable laughter was on full display. At times she seemed downright gleeful. So what is PBA? It affects alot of people, imcluding combat veterans, football players, and drunks who fall down alot. Here's a partial description from Avanir Pharmaceuticals, Inc.:PseudoBulbar Affect (PBA) symptoms are frequent, uncontrollable outbursts...

At least for this Presidential election cycle, and also for the last two, the GOP has agreed to debates hosted by unfair moderators who masquerade as "journalists". From Candy "get the transcript" Crowley, to the CNBC debacle October 28, the GOP seems complicit in setting up an unfair playing field. Basicly, the hard, snarky questions are asked the Republicans while the Democrat candidates are served softball questions. Could it be the GOP is in cahoots the mainstream media and the democrats, and is using the unfair format to decimate the conservatives within their ranks, leading less formidable ( McCain, Romney)...

I wanted to post this so everyone who wanted to could see just how bad things are in the Republican Party and in Washington . As Representative Thomas Massie said last week only five were willing to oppose Boehner on January 6th and yesterday only he and eight others were willing to oppose Paul Ryan. The nine voted for Daniel Webster of Florida, who actually told his supporters not to vote for him and Webster ended up supporting Ryan. More proof of the phony baloney nature of the "House Freedom Caucus". The nine are: Thomas Massie-Kentucky Dave Brat-Virginia Louie Gohmert-Texas...

. First, there's no doubt that the MSM-Debate folks were trying to screw Dr. Ben Carson at Wednesday's GOP Debate III in Colorado .... just like the MSM and "Willard" Romney did Herman Cain in 2012 (et al). It's not "fair", but it's "blood sport politics" (just ask Sarah Palin). Accordingly, Dr. Ben Carson's campaign staff effectively POLITICALLED KILLED their boss for NOT being pro-active about the question of Mannatech. Somebody on Dr. Ben Carson's staff should be FIRED. Period. It's a "legal fact" that once money or "renumeration" trades hands, the two parties involved have an "association". That's what...

How did they do last night? The big loser was CNBC and the media, of course, but I'm talking about the candidates. BTW, "Who do you think won the debate?" is not the same thing as "Who do you like the most?" What I think: Excellent: Cruz (1st place), Rubio (2nd place), Christie (3rd place) Good to very good (alphabetical order): Carson, Fiorina, Huckabee, Paul, Trump Poor (alphabetical order): Bush, Kasich Regardless of performance and standing, these people should leave the stage: Bush, Carson, Graham, Huckabee, Jindal, Kasich, Pataki, Paul, Santorum What say you?

Paul Ryan - Wisconsin John Boehner - Ohio Dennis Hastert - Illinois And of course we have Kevin McCarthy from California and Sally McMorris-Hyphen from Washington. Only Steve Scalise is from a Republican state, and they'll protect him from removal with their runoff procedure. An insulated leadership, free from the pressures of removal from power by conservatives. They've protected themselves from another Eric Cantor event happening.

Mrs. Clinton: Why Should anyone trust a proven Liar such as yourself in the nation's highest office? Mrs. Clinton: How is your socialist national agenda Different from Mr. Obama's socialist national agenda? Please be specific and explain why that agenda wouldn't be an unmitigated disaster as it has every time in the past. Mrs. Clinton: If you don't have to obey the rule of law, please explain why anyone else has to? Mrs. Clinton: What is the point of Intergalactic Background Checks if not for registration and Confiscation? Mr. Sanders: Please cite a Real World example (i.e. Not a small...

Donald Trump loves polls and he has not spent a lot of $ on his campaign. Trump should just create his own polling company. Publish their methodologies. Make it an open and understandable process. Been saying for a long time the downfall of Tea Party was they failed to create their own polling institution as well as failed to forthrightly deal with voting discrepancies. It's too much to ask Trump, mid campaign, to deal with the latter, but he can do the former. These Establishment polls need to be examined and their methodologies outed. Sick of being lied to. Other...

I posted this in another thread but I would like to know (besides the obvious reason of (R) cowardice) why this plan wouldn't work? 1.) The House passes a budget that defunds amnesty, defunds PP, defunds the Iran deal, defunds Obamacare. 2.) The Senate attempts to vote on it. 3.) The Democrats filibuster. 4.) The deadline passes. 5.) The government shuts down. 6.) The Republicans "change the rules of the Senate" so that budget bills cannot be filibustered after the government is shut down. 7.) The Senate passes the budget. 8.) Obama vetoes the budget. 9.) The Republicans take to...
