Call To Action: It's Election Day in Kentucky - can you help us win?
11/3/2015

Good Morning, Fellow FReepers:

Today is Election Day in Kentucky - polls are open until 6 PM local time (Eastern for part of the state, Central for the other).

This is projected to be a very low turnout election, therefore, boosting the conservative turnout just slightly can help.

It's very difficult to get through to national talk shows, but if someone today could happen to get through to shows like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mike Gallagher, etc. and include in your call with a message similar to the below:

"...before I go, I wanted to remind everyone it is election day in Kentucky and I urge all of your listeners there to make sure they turn out and vote - turnout! turnout! If you are outside of Kentucky get on the phone and call your conservative friends and neighbors and make sure they get to the polls - the races are very close with a low turnout projected."

This is a longshot for anyone to get through, but in numbers, maybe one of us will. Just boosting the turnout for the conservative side by 1 more percent could make a difference in these close races.

There is of course the Governors Race with Matt Bevin that is close, but everything else from AG to Ag. Commissioner is on the ballot. Even these smaller races could eventually have national implications, as these young candidates will provide a bench for one party or the other in future elections.

Of course, if you are in Kentucky, get out there and vote, and if you personally have conservative friends and family in Kentucky give them a call to make sure they turnout.

Thanks everyone!

VERY FEW PEOPLE VOTE IN PRIMARIES!!!

IF EACH FREEPER IN KENTUCKY GOT JUST TWO OR THREE PEOPLE TO GO VOTE IT WOULD MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

In my district i asked how many people had voted one year-they said 10 - not 10%, 10 PEOPLE . All day long.

So if I had gotten just my neighbors to go out and vote we could have gotten rid of several rinos THAT DAY by picking their primary opponents.

GET OUT TO VOTE IN PRIMARIES! PASS THE WORD

Kentucky might be viewed as a failed state after the reelection of Mitch.

That is a problem that the entire nation is suffering from.

I sure would like to see leadership within the state prior to asking for help from without.

It is important that Matt Bevin, the Republican be elected Governor today in Kentucky!!! Number one he would replace a useless, incompetent current Obamabot/Democrat Governor and, number two, he would would destroy the strength of useless, Obamabot adoree, Republican Senate leader, Mitch McConnell!!!

Matt Bevin Kentucky voters......Turnout, Turnout & Turnout to vote for Matt Bevin for Kentucky Governor today!!!

Yes. When Mitch is eventually run out of Washington like Boehner, we’ll need a Republican to appoint his successor.

I’ve convinced several would-be Conway voters to vote for Bevin by explaining that Conway is 1) a career politician, 2) an 0bama supporter, 3) a lawyer and 4) a McConnell-political-ad copycat. I’ve advised several that if they feel they don’t really know enough about either to make an informed decision to just make it real simple: vote for the one that’s not a lawyer (Bevin). I buttressed that statement with the following: look where electing lawyers have gotten us.

I drove from Louisville to Lexington to pick up my oldest son from UK last night so he could be at the polls this morning at 6am for his first ever vote and then drove him back to UK in time for his first class at 8am this morning.

I’ll be taking my 2nd son to the polls this afternoon for his first ever vote.

And I got my husband to change his registration from Democrat to Republican a few months ago so he could vote in the primary too.

That’s my 3 extra votes. Who is next??

“That’s my 3 extra votes.”

Great work. That should be inspiration for all of us.

It is quite apparent our voters did decide to turn out in higher numbers in this lower turnout election! It is quite apparent if some people had opened their wallets we would have had a sweep of all of the races. Even the races the Democrats may end up winning it will be by very narrow margins.
