I CAN FEEL MY COUNTRY DYING By Carolyn Hart I can feel my country dying. Can you not feel it too? Can you feel the pain and terror As the tyrant comes to view? I can feel my country dying. I feel it every day. As Lady Liberty stumbles And freedom slowly loses its way. Can you feel the dark age coming As it creeps across the land? Can you feel the bright light dying As civilization is damned? Thank God there are those who see it clear Who know the time is nigh When they must rise above their...

I am using Norton Antivirus 2002 with Windows XP. Three days ago I attempted to update it from the Norton Symantec site. It gave instructions in how to do it, and when it said to type the key code in the dialog box, there was no place to type it. I've sent them two e-mails requesting help with no response. Can anyone out there help? Thanks! Carolyn

I am trying to post this to the "vanity" topic, so I hope it works! Has anyone out there had any experience with the Mammatome breast biopsy system? I am scheduled to have one on Jan. 30, and everything I've learned so far is encouraging, but I would like info from someone who has actually had it done. Sorry if this ends up in the wrong place.Carolyn

We are in a very rural area. We have dialup service available from only two ISPs, both of which leave a great deal to be desired. Is there anything out there that would provide a dialup 800# with reliable connections? Or a DSL would be wonderful, but I haven't found any available here. Thanks for any help anyone can give.Carolyn

I work for a 60-bed skilled nursing facility in a very rural area. We are heavily dependent upon our computer network for accounting, medical records and billing to Medicare and Medicaid. The days of paper billing are long gone. The problem is that we have seven standalones networked to a Windows NT file server. None of us is a computer genius. The small computer firm that was our hardware support split up due to partner arguments. We have found that the PCs they "built" for us have substandard parts. We have had to upgrade modems, keyboards and other parts. We ...

A man I work with told me about a show that was on recently, on network as he does not have cable, about a man who murdered his wife and children and his mother, lined the bodies up in the house, and left. The bodies were not found for some time and the man was not found for many years. It was a true story, and supposedly the man, now in his '70s, was found and sentenced to prison. If anyone knows more about this, could they please send info or URL for an article. Thanks to any who can help.Carolyn

I am using an Acer computer that we purchased in 1995. It has Windows 3.1 and Netscape 4.0. We have decided to buy a new one (DUH!!!) but what I have found online almost always uses the Windows XP operating system. I have not heard good things about Windows XP.I would appreciate advice (please, not too technical) about Windows XP vs. Windows 2000. Also comments re Dell, Gateway, etc. would be helpful. Please remember you are dealing with a shade-tree mechanic (I learned on DOS and BASIC and was first online with the DOS-based Compuserve newswire in 1995). On page 15 of the July 9, 2001 issue of Time magazine, there is a picture of Kofi Annan. It's airbrushed, highlighted, and there's a dove with olive branches in its claws. Caption reads GLOBAL CITIZEN.I found it very disturbing. I couldn't find the photo on Time's website, but maybe someone else can. It's in the Notebook section of the magazine.Carolyn

They are yellow with black lettering, 3 1/4 x 11 1/2, and will cost $390 for 1000 (39 cents each) or $212 for 250 (85 cents each). Anyone interested in ordering should e-mail Margi Crook at margi@flash.net, or me at cdhart@laurie.net so we can get some idea of how many are interested. Please help us with this--we all know the Davidians are political prisoners. Thanks -- Carolyn
