President Biden said he is willing to debate former President Donald Trump twice ahead of the election — but only if Trump agrees to his strict terms.
“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020, and now he wants to debate me again,” Biden said in the fiery video released Wednesday.
“Well, make my day, pal,” Biden, 81, added.
The Biden camp, however, rejected allowing the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates to run the face-offs, despite it having done so since 1988, a letter obtained by the New York Times revealed.
Instead of the commission debates on Sept. 16, Oct. 1 and Oct. 9, Biden wants to go toe to toe with Trump on a more compressed schedule — with the first debate as early as June, campaign chair Jennifer O’Malley Dillon wrote.

It’s a trap.
what debate did biden ever “win” against President Donald J Trump?
He thinks he is such a tough guy, what a frail old wimp.
None!
I think Mike Wallace ran interference during one of them. You know the one with 51 former workers at Defense.
The one Chris Wallace debated Trump the entire time.
The first one in 2020 was a bad one for Trump. He was prepared by that fat slob Chris Christie and spent most of the time interrupting and bickering the same way that Christie charms everyone in a debate rather than make his own points.
Mmmmmmm......Special Counsel Robert K. Hur must be “surprised” that Biden-—who Hur said a jury would perceive as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” and thus be unlikely to convict -——is a confident eager debater, even meticulously setting the debate terms, appealing to voters who are anxious to reelect “an elderly man w/ a poor memory.”
Hur was appointed January 2023 by AG Garland to conduct the investigation of Biden into possible unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents at the U of Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement and in the garage of the Wilmington, Del private residence of Joe Biden, as well as several other places........all easily accessible to influence-peddler Hunter Biden
Biden spouting off — independent of his handler — Obama.
I’d like to hear Zero’s private reaction to Biden’s big mouth.
And, how will the “White House” (Obama) spin their way out of this?
Otherwise, get the popcorn ready.
Ya probably a virtual meeting where Biden can read his instructions from Obama!! ....imho
With Joy Behar as moderator?
TV studio, no audience, cut the feed when the bumbling begins.
Setup.
[Further comment withheld.]
Biden will appear in the debates as an AI generated hologram with the real Biden napping and eating pudding in his Delaware basement.
What a pathetic little man. I’m surprised he didn’t blurt out “Your mom wears combat boots.”
This reminds me of Bill Cosby's football 'toss of the coin' rules applied to the case of Gen. Custer and Sitting Bull.
The Biden team also asked for the debates to be staged inside a television studio with microphones that automatically cut out when the speaker’s time elapses – and no live audience.
The proposed debates would also exclude Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and any other third-party candidates. The CPD would allow additional candidates to take the stage if they reached a minimum of 15% in polling and were on enough state ballots.
I say accommodate a fair debate.
1) No moderators, just time keepers.
2) Pick the top 6-8 topics (not abortion or climate)and give each candidate up to 3 minutes to address the topic, at 3 minutes the red light comes on and the mic is cut. (Yellow light comes on when there is 15 seconds left).
3) After each candidate gets up to their 3 minutes each has one minute of follow-up, and again mic is cut at one minute.
Topics highest polled are likely to be:
1) Economy
2) Border
3) Crime
4) Energy
5) International engagements
6) State of the Union
