"We're looking at good, fiscal conservative candidates for 2007 and are very excited about getting them elected to the Virginia Senate, where we believe the real leadership problems exists," said Robin DeJarnette, executive director of the Virginia Conservative Action PAC (VCAP). Virginia's conservative campaign mirrors a national movement that ascribes the Republicans' historic losses in Congress last month to the Bush administration and national Republicans' abandonment of conservative tenets such as limited spending, lower...

The politicians are poised to raise your taxes again. By voting for anti-tax candidates in the GOP primary, you can send a message: We insist that state government do better. In all likelihood, you're not going to bother voting June 14 in either the Republican or Democratic Party primaries. Like most of your fellow citizens, you probably figure the top spots -- Jerry Kilgore for the GOP and Tim Kaine for the Demos -- are a lock. And you haven't been paying very close attention to the other races, so you really don't care who gets nominated. That would be...

Fellow VA Freepers...this VCAP is a great way to pool our donations to help Conservatives get elected in Virginia this November!! I heard about these guys and have been trying to find them...fortunately, got a letter from them and have recently sent a donation. They are wisely targeting the VA Senate this year..the liberals in the Senate have been the group killing most pro-life legislation. They just killed a bill this session that would regulate surgical abortion clinics as clinics.....right now there is almost no regulation of abortion clinics in Virginia.
