No one clapped when Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) formally and emphatically offered his support — and that of fellow Democrats — for Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democrat nominee in place of President Joe Biden, and the awkward moment went viral following his announcement Tuesday in a press conference. “President Biden’s selfless decision has given the Democratic Party the opportunity to unite behind a new nominee. And boy, oh boy, are we enthusiastic,” Schumer said at the beginning of the press conference, asserting that Harris has successfully earned the support of Democrats for the nomination, bizarrely claiming that this...

The leftist Occupy Democrats group shared reminders on Tuesday for people worried about Vice President Kamala Harris running against former President Donald Trump and losing. “Important reminders!” the group’s Facebook post read. “Also for all those who still have PTSD about Hillary losing in 2016 and worry for same fate for Kamala, we are in such different times,” the post read: 1. Hillary won the national popular vote. 2. The threat of Trump, the Supreme Court, and the Republican Party is much more apparent. 3. Democratic Party is way more unified today than it was in 2016. 4. Trump has...

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday on ABC’s “The View” that President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race because “our democracy is at stake.” Jean-Pierre said, “What we saw from this president in the last couple days was a human decency, a good man, someone who decided not to put himself first –like we’ve seen before — but to put the American people first and this country first.” She continued, “I would also say folks who have not seen the letter that he penned on Sunday and shared and released, you should. I think the letter,...

The St. Louis Cardinals deny that their players engaged in a Trump-inspired home run celebration on Sunday, but good luck telling that to Keith Olbermann. On Sunday, Alec Burleson hit a home run in the third inning of the Cardinals’ game against the Braves. As he was rounding the bases, Burleson and a couple of teammates in the dugout put a hand over their ears. They raised a fist in what appeared to be a tribute to President Trump’s reaction following his assassination attempt on July 13. Is this a Trump home run celebration by the Cardinals? pic.twitter.com/f2XrQr0q3u — Talkin’...

The Hancock, Michigan, Police Department posted a press release Sunday warning about “three different incidents that appeared to be politically motivated,” with the targets being “Trump and Law Enforcement supporters.” This is what happens when billions of corporate media dollars are used to smear the decent, hardworking, everyday people who support former President Donald Trump as Nazis…. One of the victims is an 80-year-old man who was run down in his yard while putting up a pro-Trump sign: At approximately 5:45PM, in the 1600 blk of Anthony Street, the same subject driving an ATV (4-wheel) allegedly with intention to do...

President Joe Biden praised ex-Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who resigned after facing a barrage of angry lawmakers on both sides of the aisle at a hearing the day before on the agency’s failure to prevent an assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump. Biden said in his statement on Tuesday: Jill and I are grateful to Director Kim Cheatle for her decades of public service. She has selflessly dedicated and risked her life to protect our nation throughout her career in the United States Secret Service. We especially thank her for answering the call to lead the Secret Service...

Jenna Bush Hager is recounting the toll that a 1992 election loss had on her late grandfather, President George H.W. Bush. On the Monday, July 22, episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Bush Hager was speaking about President Joe Biden's announcement that he will no longer run for reelection. "You know, I think, it’s so interesting because we’ve become a country that is so divided about politics that sometimes It’s hard to think, ‘Oh my gosh, he’s a human,' " Bush Hager, 42, said, adding: "I think even in the depths of us having these political opinions, and obviously...

As you might have heard if you have been on social media in the past 24 hours or so, the upcoming presidential election is slated to be the first in 48 years in which the Democratic and Republican tickets will not feature a member of the Bush, Clinton or Biden families. And that is true. From 1980 through 1992, the Republican ticket featured George H.W. Bush, first as a vice-presidential candidate and then as a presidential one. Then Bill Clinton defeated Bush in the 1992 race, meaning that he was on the ticket again in 1996. In 2000, George W....

Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) said Tuesday on “CNN This Morning” that what Democrats knew about President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline was not relevant. Host Kasie Hunt said, “We know that the one of the principle lines of attacks, and I’ve talked to sources who say the polling shows this is a serious vulnerability that Republicans are going to say that Kamala Harris knew that President Biden wasn’t up to four more years. I mean, they would say that about you, I think as well, and they’re going to allege a coverup. They’re going to say she knew she covered it...

Former President Donald Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris in 13 national polls published in the month of July. The surveys indicate Harris might not have any better chance of defeating Trump than President Joe Biden did. Harris’s favorability rating is one point less than Biden’s, RealClearPolitics polling average found. Harris will be an easier candidate to defeat in November than Biden, Trump said Sunday after Biden dropped out as the Democrat’s de facto nominee. The 13 polls also contradicts polling from former pollster for President Barack Obama, Fernand Amandi, who published an internal survey on July 9 that found...

President Joe Biden spoke publicly for the first time since bowing out of the presidential race on Sunday, vowing to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris while remaining president despite calls for him to resign. It is unclear if Harris wants Biden’s help on the campaign trail. They both have similar average favorability and approval ratings in the mid-30s “I’m not going anywhere,” he told supporters on a Harris campaign call. “I’m going to be out there and campaign with her, with Kamala,” he continued, with a raspy voice. “I’m going to be working like hell, both as a sitting...

The ex-ESPN personality has pushed out one X post after another, claiming there is “no evidence” that Donald Trump was the target of an assassination attempt, according to Fox News. A National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) document contends that having Kamala Harris as the Democrat presidential nominee spells doom for down-ballot Democrats due to her “extreme agenda” and poor campaigning skills. Jason Thielman, the executive director of the NRSC, wrote a memo on Monday, detailing how Harris as the Democrat presidential nominee creates a “strong down-ballot opportunity” for Republicans. “The case against Joe Biden relied in part on the fact that he was mentally unfit to hold office, which was difficult to translate down-ballot. Kamala Harris owns the Biden Administration’s baggage and is an avowed radical,” Thielman explained in the...

3:17 Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) reportedly gave President Joe Biden an ultimatum: bow out of the presidential race “the easy way or the hard way.” Politico reported Monday, a day after Biden’s announcement that he would step aside as the presumptive 2024 Democrat presidential nominee, that the former Speaker and still top Democrat powerbroker put her foot down after weeks of Biden publicly insisting he would plow forward with his campaign despite major fallout from his disastrous debate performance on June 27. “Nancy made clear that they could do this the easy way or the hard way,” one...
