The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove. U.S. stock index futures moved higher on Friday morning as data showed U.S. job creation was stronger than expected in April. Dow futures rose 112 points, indicating a gain of about 110 points at the open, following the release of the better-than-expected jobs report. The Nasdaq Composite is set to open 40 points higher, while futures on the S&P 500 were also higher. Support for a southern border wall among conservatives has jumped since President Trump came to office, reaching a new high of 99 percent, according to a new survey. What’s more, conservative activists demand sweeping immigration reform as part of the border wall strategy. Because the 2020 presidential election is a year and a half away, it is very easy to get lulled into the false presumption that the outcome cannot possibly be currently determined, especially after the shocking result we all witnessed in 2016. However, there is an extremely strong argument to be made that the emerging destruction of Joe Biden, by both his own hands and those of his rivals, could very well end up allowing President Trump to be re-elected.

Congressional Democrats are committing a grave political blunder by continuing to push Russia conspiracy theories and insinuating that Attorney General William Barr is perpetrating a cover-up by complying with the law in his handling of the Mueller report. In addition to the special counsel probe, which produced no evidence of collusion or obstruction of justice by the Trump campaign, there have been two congressional inquiries that also failed to find proof of malfeasance. President Trump's disapproval rating has dropped to the lowest point of his presidency in CNN polling. The survey released Monday found that 51 percent of respondents disapprove of Trump's job performance, the lowest share since CNN began polling at the beginning of Trump's term. Rasmussen reports that the president’s approval rating is now at 52 percent, a nine-point jump in just ten days.
