The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -4. (see trends).

Sorry, but > IMO < this hovering around 50% figure is pure B. S.

There were very low days when he was at 45%. Now when he’s been exonerated, he’s only at 50%?

Not buying it.

With 92% of the msm providing 7/24 negative [and mostly false} coverage, how can Trump be a 50-47% positive?

How can President Trump be at 56% positive on his handling of the economy ON CNN?

Did you know that cnn has less than 400,000 viewers on a daily basis, and that includes the captive audience at all airports.

I get more responses than that on FR:)

Gee... I wonder why Gallup suddenly quit doing this poll, after decades or running it?

I can’t imagine...

Lots of Stupid DemoRats.....

Lots of people who might normally be considered independents or moderates who are buying into the "give me my free stuff" crowd. Except for them instead of free money, they're looking for waived college loans, free services, ...

when you see that 39% strongly disapprove...

These are the ones that no matter what he does and no matter what comes out about the dems, they’ll STILL strongly disapprove.

These aren’t the rational ones thinking through things.

These are the ones who are nothing but “feelers”
and their feelers are broke.

If those 50 percent are in all the right places Trump will be fine.

Traditionally we’re reminded of the 40/20/40 margins.

I’m not sure that always holds true.

This is one time when I think the Left has overplayed it’s hand so much, that it may be more like 30/10/60 right now.

Trump has delivered on his promises, and people haven’t seen that in decades.

I fail to see anyone being able to challenge him even close.

The 47% who disapprove of Donald Trump are mostly Democrats, who are divided among themselves. For example, 65% of Democrats disapprove of Joe Biden to the extent that they aren’t supporting him for president; Bernie Sanders is disapproved of by 70%; and so on.

Soon the Democrats will be even more divided when their Debates begin, starting next month, because some of the currently little-known candidates are likely to impress various groups of Democratic viewers enough for them to send in contributions, further fracturing the party.

The Big Lie of the liberal media is that somehow all the tiny Democratic fragments, which will spend the next year trying to destroy each other, will magically unite at some point to take on Donald Trump. But who will unite them? There is no leadership in the Democratic party. There are no elder statesmen there; are there even any adults left among the Democrats?
