A glitch in Google Maps has turned the small fishing town of Sokcho, South Korea, into a Pokémon Go tourist haven. The globally popular mobile game hasn't launched yet in South Korea, but that hasn't stopped clever gamers from finding a way to play it anyways. The city of Sokcho is taking full advantage of it, according to this video by the Wall Street Journal.

The bus driving Southern Illinois' basketball team home from a road game got stuck in a ditch along Interstate 57 on Sunday night. Illinois has been pounded by snow since New Year's Day. According to an ESPN report, the bus got stuck after the driver pulled off the road with hopes of waiting out the snowstorm. Once the driver tried to get the bus back on the road, it was immovable. The highway was closed at this point, and they were unable to get a tow. They likely won't get back to campus until Monday morning after taking on Illinois...

Danes have always loved the US as a travel destination. But with the dollar at its lowest point in 30 years, residents are now gobbling up the many discount offers being pitched by the nation's travel companies. Several travel bureaus are reporting increases of up to 140 percent on sales of trips to the states, where Danes can feel like wealthy plantation barons. In the past two years, the dollar has fallen from a value of 6.4 kroner to a shocking 4.8 kroner today - its lowest point since 1977. Weekend trips to New York City have been a hot...

As my taxi pulled up at Changi airport, I knew this was going to be a special day - the day of the first A380 commercial flight was finally here. The airport had long been adorned with banners and posters declaring Singapore "A380 ready" and anticipating the flight.

Increasing numbers of foreign tourists are choosing to holiday in Sweden - and they are spending more money than ever, according to new figures from Visit Sweden. The number of 'guest nights' spent in the country in 2006 increased by 9 percent compared to the year before. While the most frequent visitors are from neighbouring countries, new budget airline routes mean that more and more Russian and Chinese tourists are coming. "The foreign tourists we're targeting with our marketing of Sweden are very interested in different and exotic experiences. Reporting on the internet, in newspapers and on television has proven...
  • (Bye to Socialism) Blizzards, reindeer, darkness: new Klondike is hottest place in Europe

The article, from one of the world's leading newspapers, touches on what a blessing saying "hasta la vista" to socialism really can be - not to mention future prospects! Ask the people who live in the hottest city of Europe - and they don't speak "cockney" or french with a Paris accent. The fall of Communism in Russia and China in combination with the orientation towards pro-capitalism of Scandinavia has already lead to a explosion of trade between the world's 14th biggest economy, Russia, the world's 4th biggest economy, China and the 8th biggest one, the Scandinavian countries (Source: IMF...
