Dear Mitt, I know we haven't always seen eye to eye. And I've been tough on you in the past but you need to hear this from someone...drop the idea of running again. It must stick in your craw that you lost to an idiot like Barack Obama. But that's the problem, you...lost...to….an…idiot…like...Barack...Obama. Yes, defeating an incumbent President is hard but it's a lot easier in times of economic distress (see Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, granted he invented his own time of distress but "it's the economy stupid" carried the day). Even with crushing levels of unemployment, anemic growth...
  • VANITY..Romney was so weak Ron Paul could have won the Presidency.

Think about it. This election was purely about domestic issues, never heard anyone say voting for Romney because he has bad @ss foreign policy. Sadly, Romney did not win his own state with Obama taking 61% of MA votes. 1. Republican Nominates the riches person ever to run for President who couldn't connect with middle and lower class. 2. A flip flopper no one really sure his position. He was a serial candidate who changed as often as the wind blew. Even Goofus Rick Perry had him talking in circles. 3. Would never give details about his grand plan only...

The very same people that have shoved Mitt McDoles down our throats for decades now will re-emerge from the ruling class to tell us that [Romney] was too conservative (I know, I laughed out loud, too)... Romney did everything the cynical Karl Rove wing of the party says Republicans have to do to win...And he still lost. Perhaps if Romney had gone after the president...on Benghazi the way he went after Gingrich and Santorum...he wouldn’t have lost. [Obama] embraced his base, even on social issues....The progressives cast a vision that took more than one election cycle, followed it through, and...
  • 40 Points That Prove That Barack Obama And Mitt Romney Are Essentially The Same Candidate

What a depressing choice the American people are being presented with this year. We are at a point in our history where we desperately need a change of direction in the White House, and we are guaranteed that we are not going to get it. The Democrats are running the worst president in American history, and the Republicans are running a guy who is almost a carbon copy of him. The fact that about half the country is still supporting Barack Obama shows how incredibly stupid and corrupt the American people have become. No American should have ever cast a...
  • Fox News poll: Obama's lead grows as Romney's support slips

Mitt Romney has had a tough couple of weeks on the campaign trail -- and it shows in the latest Fox News poll. After a barrage of campaign ads, negative news coverage of his overseas trip and ongoing talk about his tax returns, Romney’s favorable rating and standing in the trial ballot have declined. As a result, President Obama has opened his biggest lead since Romney became the presumptive Republican nominee. The president would take 49 percent of the vote compared to Romney's 40 percent in a head-to-head matchup if the election were held today, the poll found. Last month,...

Sounds like fun already ... the Tampa Bay Times released the names of some of the speakers slated for the RNC convention in Tampa later this month, and it looks to be a promising lineup. The Times reported that, as of now, it's unclear where these speakers are slotted, and the rest of the lineup--including the keynote speaker--remains unknown. Names so far include conservative powerhouses New Mexico Gov. Susanna Martinez and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley. Florida Gov. Rick Scott is also speaking. Here's a portion of the Times report: Florida Gov. Rick Scott, Sen. John McCain and former Secretary...

  • Romney Says GOP's Not 'Party of the Rich,' But 'of Those Who Want to Be Rich'

JACKSON, Miss. - At a fundraiser at a country club in Mississippi this evening that was expected to raise a record-breaking $1.7 million, Mitt Romney defended the Republican Party against its reputation as the "party of the rich" explaining that really, it is a party focused on helping the poor. "We're accused, by the way - in our party - of being the party of the rich," Romney said. "And it's an awful moniker, because that's just not true. We're the party of people who want to get rich. And we're also the party of people who want to care...

Washington (CNN) - The race for the White House remains very close, according to a new national poll, partly because neither President Barack Obama nor Republican challenger Mitt Romney have a clear advantage on issue number one - the economy. A CNN/ORC International survey released Friday also indicates that Obama supporters are more energized right now than those backing Romney. According to the poll, 49% of registered voters say that if the November election were held today, they would vote for Obama, while 46% say they would cast a ballot for Romney, the unofficial GOP presidential nominee. The president's three...
