The newest projection from a coronavirus model cited by the White House says the U.S. will have nearly 200,000 more deaths from COVID-19 by March if current measures to stop the virus' spread remain the same. The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington in Seattle on Thursday projected that the U.S. will have 320,403 deaths by January 1 and 438,940 by March 1.
