<p>CHICAGO — United Airlines (search), the world's second-largest airline, Wednesday confirmed it has named its fledgling low-cost carrier venture "Ted," as it prepares to launch the service from Denver early next year.</p>
<p>The formal unveiling ceremony will take place on Nov. 18 in Denver, the airline said in a statement. That is also when tickets go on sale.</p>
