On Monday, Dr. Greg Brannon, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, handily won a key straw poll in the U.S. Senate primary at a candidate forum held in Guilford County, a county which has the third largest number of registered Republicans in the state. The Senate candidate forum, hosted by Conservatives for Guilford County, was attended by nearly 300 interested voters and conservative activists who were eager to hear from the candidates.
