My post concerning Stephen Lerner yesterday has generated a ton of hits. For awhile if you searched for Stephen Lerner on Yahoo my blog post was #3 on the list. As of the time this post is entered it was still in the top 10. I didn’t do anything to put the post in the top 10, I have no idea how to even do such things. And the company’s had enough. Fed up with tactics that include intimidation, extortion, and yes, sabotage that apparently includes plastic cockroaches, Sodexo filed a lawsuit against the SEIU last week under the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt

The labor movement plans to lend its considerable weight to help pass President Barack Obama’s proposed bank fee this year. Envisioned as a tax on big banks to help recoup the government’s losses from the 2008 bailout of Wall Street, the proposal has attracted labor support. Unions see the tax as a part of a broader agenda for financial regulatory reform. Several union officials told The Hill they plan to make the fee a part of their campaign platform when deciding which candidates to support for the 2010 midterm elections. “We’re already campaigning all over the country about banks,” said...
