In addition to the presidential election, North Myrtle Beach voters will decide at the polls Nov. 2 whether to keep incumbent state Sen. Dick Elliott in office or welcome newcomer Katherine Jenerette. Elliott, 67, has a long history in politics and government. Elliott, a Democrat, has been state senator since 1992 and served 10 years prior in the House.
