It's easy to tell Freberg is a liberal - the Declaration Of Independence skit is a take on the House Unamerican Committee. It is difficult to list the various accomplishments of Stan Freberg. They included music, comedy, writing, advertising, even puppeteering. Mr. Freberg died on April 7, 2015 at the age of 88 according to his son Donavan’s Facebook page and his Twitter account. The news quickly spread on Twitter, with condolences from the many whom Freberg influenced, as well as scores of fans.

Stan Freberg is a pop culture icon, and that is not an overstatement. For 67 of his 85 years, he has entertained us with radio shows, TV puppets, satirical commercials, animation voiceovers, hit records and an album musical, "Stan Freberg Presents The United States of America, Volume One." Freberg shows no signs of slowing down.
