ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (AP) - A teenager charged with killing his mother by stabbing her 111 times waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday. Christopher Dankovich, 16, did not speak during his brief court appearance other than to acknowledge that he had agreed to waive the hearing. Judge Nancy Carniak did not set a date for arraignment, but it is expected to take place later this month. Lawyers for both sides said they were negotiating a possible plea deal.
