  • Florida school bus beatdown goes unnoticed by self-styled civil rights activists

A viral video showing the beating of a 13-year-old white boy by three African-American youths in Florida has left hundreds of thousands of viewers horrified, but critics say the case doesn't seem to be attracting much sympathy from self-styled civil rights activists. In the chilling video, three 15-year-old boys repeatedly beat and kick a victim police said was left with a broken arm and two black eyes. Although Florida came under fire in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting and George Zimmerman's acquittal by activists Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson - who called it an "apartheid state" - neither...

Race Relations: A quarter-century after a black teenager falsely accused an innocent white man of rape, she has begun paying reparations for her slander. The man who rocketed to fame on her falsehoods is still at it. If ever there was a case of racial injustice it was the case of Tawana Brawley and Steven Pagones, except the roles of victim and perpetrator were reversed in the parallel universe of the racial grievance industry. The master of that universe is Al Sharpton. Pagones is not as well-known as George Zimmerman, nor is he likely to be now, given the media's...

A defiantly unapologetic Tawana Brawley began paying off damages last week, 25 years after falsely accusing ex-prosecutor Steven Pagones of rape, The New York Post reported. Ten checks totaling $3,764.61 were delivered to Mr. Pagones — the first payments Miss Brawley has made since she defamed him in 1988, The Post said. She still owes Mr. Pagones $431,000. A Virginia court this year ordered the money garnisheed from six months of Miss Brawley’s wages as a licensed practical nurse at The Laurels of Bon Air in Richmond, The Post reported. She can appeal the wage garnishment every six months.
  • Tawana Brawley Finally Forced to Pay Man She Defamed

In an exclusive to the New York Post, the paper reported Sunday that after 25 years, former New York prosecutor Steven Pagones is finally getting justice from Tawana Brawley. The Post reports that Pagones recently received his first payments from Brawley as money is being collected through wage garnishments: $3,764.61 so far, with $431,000 to go. In 1987, Brawley, with the promotional assistance of Rev. Al Sharpton and lawyers C. Vernon Mason and Alton Maddox, defamed Pagones in the infamous race-baiting fake rape case that grabbed headlines around the world. As Breitbart News has previously recalled, in November 1987, fifteen...

Did you hear about the seventeen-year-old Queens resident, Natasha Martinez, who was stabbed eleven times last week by a black male wearing a white hoodie? Yep, just a few days ago, as this young lady was walking home from her job at Mickey D’s, and right in front of her house, Natasha was jumped by a black dude in a white hoodie and suffered eleven stab wounds -- she is in serious condition. Her state was so grave the doctors at Jamaica Hospital had to remove her spleen and confiscate a vein from her leg and implant it into her...

Twenty-five years after accusing an innocent man of rape, Tawana Brawley is finally paying for her lies. Last week, 10 checks totaling $3,764.61 were delivered to ex-prosecutor Steven Pagones — the first payments Brawley has made since a court determined in 1998 that she defamed him with her vicious hoax. A Virginia court this year ordered the money garnisheed from six months of Brawley’s wages as a nurse there. She still owes Pagones $431,000 in damages. And she remains defiantly unapologetic. “It’s a long time coming,” said Pagones, 52, who to this day is more interested in extracting a confession...

Three teenagers have been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of a 4-year-old girl as she rode her scooter near her grandmother's home early this week, authorities said. Laquan Waters, 18, Tyrese Pearson, 17, and Roosevelt Stevens, 15, have been charged with attempted murder in the shooting about 4:55 p.m. Monday of Khalise Weatherspoon, said Cook Count state's attorney's spokeswoman Tandra Simonton. Khalise was the fourth child age 7 or younger to be shot and wounded in Chicago in July.

Twitchy CEO Michelle Malkin absolutely eviscerated Al Sharpton during her guest appearance on Hannity last night. The clown prince of race-baiters had a guest on his show that called Hannity “a paid assassin of African-Americans,” and Hannity asked Malkin to comment on his demand that Sharpton apologize. Some excerpts from her fiery response: Al Sharpton has blood on his hands. He’s ruined lives. He’s been one of the worst purveyors of racial divisiveness and hate in my lifetime. How can you expect of ounce of honor from a man who doesn’t have it?” She continued, actually taking Hannity and other...

But out of tragedy can come something positive and that is why "Talking Points" is urging the civil rights folks to stop maligning the country and face up to a huge problem that is directly harming millions, primarily in the African-American community. Young black Americans are the most violent group in this country by far. .. They also ignore the entertainment industry putting out vile products aimed at young people, some of whom incorporate the gangster culture into their own lives. On Thursday we told you that Al Sharpton, now in business with a company that distributes garbage like Lil'...

Sharpton, known for racially divisive rhetoric as an activist, political candidate, and talk show host, accused conservatives Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly -- who he termed “the unholy triumvirate of right-wing reaction” -- of “exploiting differences between us for their own advantage” following the George Zimmerman verdict. “We have a long history in this country of some people exploiting differences between us for their own advantage,” Sharpton said on his MSNBC talk show, Politics Nation, on Friday. “It’s a cynical appeal to the worst instincts in our great country.”

MSNBC’s Al Sharpton took Bill O’Reilly’s recent comments about race head-on Friday evening, after the Fox anchor singled him out last night for being “in business with people who put out entertainment harmful to children.” Sharpton called it “ridiculous” that O’Reilly is somehow the “expert on what the vast majority of African-Americans want.” “In the time since George Zimmerman’s acquittal,” Sharpton declared, “some right-wingers have gone into overdrive to push the most negative stereotypes of the African-American community for their own gain.” He lumped O’Reilly in with Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity as the “unholy triumvirate of right-wing reaction” that...

Have You Ever Really Listen to Al Sharpton? I just listened to Al Sharpton and I mean listened. What I heard bordered on insanity if offered as rebuttal to what Sharpton heard from O’Reilly. I believe O’Reilly’s accurately presented the reasons supporting his position on causes for the problems. I believe Sharpton is attempting to appeal to a degree of ignorance I would not have believed just a few years ago, Of course, different listeners would come away with differing conclusions but there must be limits to how different that difference can honestly be. Here is a link to what...

LOS ANGELES, July 25, 2013 — July 19 marked the 50th anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech. The commemoration of this powerful and world-changing oratory was co-opted for two reasons. One was President Obama’s impromptu ramblings on race a week after the Zimmerman acquittal. The other reason was the marches across 100 cities to protest that same verdict, and to put pressure on the Department of Justice to lodge civil rights charges against George Zimmerman. So how effective were the protests? If news coverage is any indication, not very. National papers like the New...

Just as they did during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, last Saturday’s demonstrations in more than 100 cities around the nation to protest the not guilty verdict for George Zimmerman on charges that he murdered 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, many ministers were in the forefront of protests at federal buildings in their communities. They started off by standing with Rev. Al Sharpton who announced plans to contest “Stand Your Ground” laws in Florida and 28 other states. More than 20 Black clergy leaders joined Sharpton last week in front of the Justice Department in Washington, D.C. to express their...

At the July 20 Chicago “Justice for Trayvon” rally, which garnered somewhere between 5-10 thousand people (predominantly African-American), mainstream public figures like Jesse Jackson and celebrities like MC Lyte demonstrated alongside radical groups like the International Socialist Organization (ISO), the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA (REVCOM), Occupy Chicago, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL). The event was one of hundreds sponsored by the National Action Network (NAN), run by Al Sharpton. At this particular rally, as was undoubtedly the case at most of the other Justice for Trayvon rallies across the country, the message was clear: the United States...
