The Coalition Provisional Authority clarified today what CPA administrator Ambassador L. Paul Bremer III said in a Feb. 20 interview on Al Arabiya satellite TV. Iraq's new police force is making noticeable contributions to the security environment in Baghdad and elsewhere in the country, senior U.S. officials told reporters in Baghdad today.
