A.J. Strata informs us that Sidney Blumenthal has leaked the fact that NSA is assisting Israel in tracking weapons shipments from Iran and Syria to Hezbollah, gaining him anti-Israel supporters and (one hopes) a chance to talk to the grand jury investigating NSA leaks: Why would Sydney Blumenthal risk everything to publicize the fact he has been leaked – and is publicizing – classified information? The leftwing, anti-Israel sites are lapping this up. But my guess is Sidney just won himself an invite to a Grand Jury looking into leaks at the NSA:

Three and a half decades after avoiding punishment for bombing the Pentagon, Bill Ayers is still "guilty as sin, free as a bird," to use his own phraseology of 35 years ago. "For every human being life is, in part, an experience of suffering and loss and pain," Ayers writes in Teaching with Conscience in an Imperfect World: An Invitation, published by the Teacher's College Press at Columbia University this year. "But our living experience also embraces other inescapable facts: that we are all in this together, and that much (but not all) of what we suffer in life is...

Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders called the controversy over immigration "trumped up" today during a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border near Nogales, Arizona, just days before the primary in this southwest state. "The so-called immigration problem we face today at this particular moment, is a trumped up and exaggerated problem," he said during a hillside press conference with the expansive, brown border fence stretching off into the distance behind him. His microphone was run off of a generator. Sanders went on to quote numbers from the Pew research center that indicate more people have been going from the United State to...

The nation's struggling media, which has gone all-in on digital platforms to stay alive, now faces a new threat, easy-to-install ad blockers that are expected to wipe out $20 billion in all online publishing revenue next year, according to a sobering new report. The group PageFair, which helps publishers fight ad blocking, revealed that the use of the money-robbing practice has surged in the United States and globally, and is expected to cost U.S. online publishers and advertising-supported sites $10.7 billion in "unrealized revenue" this year. That is expected to double next year. The report said that ad blocking is...

A confrontation described as heated but non-violent thwarted a planned burning of the Confederate flag by demonstrators Saturday in Brooksville. A few hundred counter-protesters — many carrying Confederate and American flags — showed up at the steps of the Hernando County courthouse to cut short a rally in which organizers denounced “rampant white racist violence.” Organizers of the protest included the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, a St. Petersburg group of white people under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party, which seeks reparations for black Americans. As about a dozen people protested, they became greatly outnumbered by a pro-Confederate flag...

Ayers was one of three keynote speakers at a major conference organized by a consortium of schools of education at some 30 or so middle sized universities called The Renaissance Group. Ayers was given the only keynote luncheon speaker spot at the conference. The two morning keynote speakers were none other than Arne Duncan, the Secretary of Education – and former foe of Ayers (and Obama) in the Chicago School Wars, and Undersecretary of Education Martha Kanter. A major theme of the Renaissance organization is finding ways to educate the “New American Student,” as described in a statement published a...

Just an hour after UMN President Eric Kaler delivered his annual State of the University address, Minneapolis activists, led by Students for a Democratic Society members, delivered their own address. Dubbed a "People's State of the University Address", the address centered on the struggle of students, staff, and faculty, including inflated administrations, the need for a diversified campus, tuition hikes, and greater difficulties for workers. This was in contrast the the address delivered by Eric Kaler which was little more than a PR stunt for the university.read more

A man whose job as the Weather Underground’s “bomb guru” is revealed in an explosive new book taught at New York City public schools for nearly 25 years and now receives a $40,000 annual pension.Ronald Fliegelman is one of the unsung members of the Weather Underground, co-founded by former Obama associate Bill Ayers in 1969.The son of a Philadelphia doctor, Fliegelman became the radical leftist group’s chief bomb architect after three members — Terry Robbins, Diana Oughton, and Ted Gold — were killed on March 6, 1970 when a bomb they were making detonated at their Greenwich Village apartment....

For those interested in examining “terrorist attacks committed on American soil” and hate crimes, the Crime Museum in Washington, D.C., is the place to be starting on Wednesday. In addition to offering information on recent attacks, the museum's "Domestic Terrorism and Hate Crimes" exhibit will display objects from the wrenching incidents. From the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, for example, there will be a runner’s medal and a bib from one of the victims. Letters from the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski, will also be on display, as will a Virginia Jihad Network rifle that was confiscated in 2003. The exhibit will also...

Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) held a "Demilitarize FSUPD" Rally to try and put a stop to the military weaponry inventory FSUPD has ordered in the past year. In Aug. of 2014, FSUPD ordered 10 M4 rifles. In addition, FSUPD owns a military Humvee. Zachary Schultz, a member of FSU SDS and one of the leaders of the rally, sparked interest into the issue after seeing the problems in Ferguson. "It really started back with uprising in Ferguson when we saw the ridiculous police militarization which occupied the city there," Schultz said. "We looked into it and uncovered that...

Obama now sides with one of the most repressive communist regimes that has tortured and killed legions in Cuba President Ronald Reagan who once famously told Soviet Union Leader Mikhail Gorbachev, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall,” must be rolling in his grave. America, through a branch of the Michigan State Department of Natural Resources, now boldly and openly celebrates the ideal of communism. Two days before the countdown to midnight celebrating 2015, the Michigan Historical Commission, a branch of the state’s Department of Natural Resources, announced it would be placing an official historical marker, which in essence honors unrepentant...

'We Still Have More Work To Do'' The State Department's Rose Gottemoeller, under secretary for arms control and international security, spoke at the Brookings Institution Thursday where she reaffirmed the United States' "unassailable" commitment to putting the nuclear weapons genie back in the bottle. Gottemoeller told the attendees at the Arms Control and Non-Proliferation Initiative-sponsored event that "the U.S. commitment to achieving the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons is unassailable." She went on to note that the nation's stockpile of active weapons is down 85 percent from maximum cold war levels, falling to 4,804 in 2013...

I went down to Al Sharpton March at Freedom Plaza today, which featured the Mothers of Trayvon Martin and Eric Garner with a crowd of mostly out of towners that numbered between 8,000 to 10,000 at the height of it all. The march and rally pretty much ended with around 3pm with Sharpton making a very brief appearance and mostly White Leftwingers hijacking the march afterwards as the out of towners headed for their buses. The signage held up by these Leftists radical included environmental messages, the overthrow of the capitalist system. One sign proclaimed that, "Capitalism was the disease...

In a development that may portend extended disruptions, veteran street organizer Lisa Fithian, previously dubbed “Professor Occupy,” recently trained Ferguson protesters how to “simulate chaos.” Fithian is a legendary organizer who once announced she seeks to “create crisis, because crisis is that edge where change is possible.” She was one of the luminaries of the Occupy Wall Street movement and was a lead organizer in the infamous 1999 Seattle riots against the World Trade Organization that descended into violence. The 1999 WTO event in Seattle devolved into widespread rioting in which more than 40,000 protesters, some using violent tactics, descended...

.......The only Americans who talk about race as a controversial issue today are Democrats along with so-called educators about whom there is nothing to be done. They are hopeless. Attorney General Eric Holder sent federal monitors to oversee elections in 18 states, some not even members of the old confederacy....Meanwhile,Democrats were running ads on black radio stations accusing Republicans of supporting the kind of gun laws that “caused the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.” The Democratic Party of Georgia was distributing brochures portraying black children carrying signs that say “Don’t Shoot” and the handouts calling on voters to “prevent another Ferguson.”...

It is a long-standing and often repeated lament on the right that academia and college campuses are self-declared enemies of conservative thinking broadly, and the Republican party specifically, and in a treacherous but overt and unrepentant manner. So it comes as no surprise to website The College Fix that some colleges are offering course credit for promoting socialist causes and participating in socialist recruitment on campus. Not a surprise, but still an outrage. Young Democratic Socialists (YDS) are coordinating with administrators to help YDS Leader program participants get college credit for their activities. According to The Fix, activities which...
